MTN ****s their customers!!!!! On 15 Nov 2023 I opened an MTN month to month data contract (uncapped & 35mps) advertised @ R 499-00 per month. Apparently you also get a free router (as advertised) which I didn’t need but accepted anyway. All costs up until 5 December 2023 came to R 765,13 which I fully paid in store! Great was my amazement this month when I got an account from MTN for over R 700 rand again! Upon querying this at their call centre I was told it is pro rata payment for the router (which is advertised as free) and then told its pro rata for data! WHAT DID I PAY THE R499 for if not for UNCAPPED DATA!!! Querying this the fone was disconnected by the MTN operator. Typical about ****mers, if they can’t lie to you anymore, they just put down the phone! BEWARE BEWARE OF MTN!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF MTN ****S!!!!!!! where they charge you more than THEIR advertised amount!!! BEWARE OF MTN AFTER SALES SERVICE where they just disconnect your call when their lies don’t work on you!!!!
In regards to my previous review of PnP, I did indeed receive a reply from their H/O. This reply states that the ‘Thank You’ email was forwarded to PnP Ruimsig, and that they will reply directly to me! Of course, as expected, the unhelpful, unfriendly, *********** Manager of Ruimsig PnP just ignored this directive from their H/O, as I am STILL WAITING, for his reply! WELL DONE PICK & PAY, you have once again shown that you only care to milk as much money from your customers WITHOUT providing ANY aftersales service whatsoever! I would therefore like to warn all customers of Pick & Pay Ruimsig, if you intend purchasing any product from them, please be aware of the fact that their aftersales service is NON-EXISTANT!!! “LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!”
I would truely like to thank The Manager & Staff of Pick n Pay, Ruimsig for the atrocious service (not for the first time) they provided to me yesterday the 22 Nov 2023. Was it not for this utter bad service of refusing to sell me an advertised product at the current advertised price of R999,99, I would never have researched similar products online. LO AND BEHOLD! I found a similar product of way more superior attributes than the AIM product PnP advertised, available at exactly the same price! SO THANK YOU PnP RUIMSIG STAFF FOR THE TRULY BAD SERVICE your customers have come to know so well! TO EVERYONE OUT THERE: DO NOT ACCEPT PICK N PAY’S PRICES BLINDLY, they are way more expensive than what you should pay for items, rather shop around, and guaranteed you will find a better price!
KUDOS TO SPAR!!!! After an unfortunate shopping experience I had at TOPS@SPAR in Ruimsig on 28 May 2019 and bringing this matter to their attention I promptly received a reply from them that this matter will be addressed asap. I also personally received a phone call from Warrick assuring me that this matter has been addressed and rectified. On 10 June I once again went to TOPS to put this assurance to the test ( With a gift card graciously supplied by SPAR) and found that indeed my complaint had been addressed and RECTIFIED!!! WELL DONE SPAR! You have restored my confidence in your Brandname by your actions that show you clearly care about your customers and DO take their complaints to heart AND rectify them. I once again will happily be patronaging SPAR secure in the knowledge that I'm not just a wallet for them but a valuable customer they truly care about.
On the 29th of May I wrote a review of a disgusting shopping experience I underwent at TOPS@SPAR in Ruimsig regarding their unethical behavior by charging for deposits on bottles, and then refusing to accept the bottles back and returning the deposit. Great was my surprise when on the same day I was contacted by their H/O customer service department promising that I would be contacted within 3 working days to resolve this matter. Needless to say, it has now been a week, and lo and behold, NOT A WORD from them! I can therefore only conclude that their customer service is as atrocious as their business practices. I would therefore like to advise any shopper that if you want a fair and honest shopping experience with a retailer that care about you, and not only the profit they can obtain by any means possible, NOT to shop at stores where you as a customer gets treated as a wallet to be milked by any means possible, and not as a valuable asset to their business.
On 28/05/19 at 18h20 I patronaged Tops@Spar in Ruimsig to acquire a few beers. Great was my surprise that they now have adopted the unethical policy that they will not accept my empty quart beer bottles for the return of their deposit while at the same time selling me the full product and CHARGING me deposit thereon. As there is NO signage in Tops advising customers of this policy I spoke to a manager 'Chancy' who submitted to me this was instructions received by his superiors. I regard this as an utterly disgraceful and disgusting practice adopted by Tops@Spar and will advise everyone to beware not to get ripped off when shopping at said store.
