Terrible service since arrival at the 5 star Sheraton hotel in Pretoria. Had to wait in a que for 1 and a half hours to book in. No chairs were offered to sit on or even something to drink while standing in the que. After mentioning our dissatisfaction, we were upgraded to a " better suite". In the suite the aircon did not work, there was no hot water in the bathroom, we were given a small heater to warm up the room, with no effect. The bathroom had no bathroom mats. The white bedding was an off white colour. Paid the hotel account when we booked in, only to be informed the night before we left that we were undercharged. The 3 nights spent in the hotel was a disaster from the beginning to the end and very disappointing, not what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to any locals or foreigners.
Clicks Pinehurst and Cape Gate, was helped by interns on 2 different occasions. Pinehurst Clicks an intern assisted me and took more than 30 minutes to eventually get my prescription done. I literally saw 9 clients being assisted while I was still waiting for my tablets to be counted etc. When I mentioned that I think the the intern needs help, I was told in an abrupt manner that she is busy with it. Yesterday at Cape Gate, I was again assisted by an intern. When I got home and opened my package, there was 20 tablets short of the 1 boarded medication. I immediately phoned Cape Gate, held on for 15 minutes, no one answered the telephone. I phoned the main number again and explained to a lady at beauty department, that the pharmacy is not answering their phone. She promised that she would give them my number and that they would call me back. I am still waiting. I called this morning again. Held on for 12 minutes at the pharmacy, no one answered. Again phoned main number and spoke to a gentleman that said he would transfer me to the pharmacy and tell them to answer the phone. 14 minutes later, still no one answering. Clicks customer care leaves much to be spoken about. I have been getting my meds from Clicks for many years, but am considering getting my meds from another pharmacy. I will not tolerate such poor service
I belong to a comprehensive medical aid plan that is administered by Discovery Health. I went for specialized dentistry more than 4 weeks ago. I have a stand alone benefit for specialized dentistry. On submitting the account for the specialized dentistry that was done and after having received the quote from Discovery ensuring from which benefit payment will be taken, payment for the account was taken from my insured out of hospital benefit and from my medical savings account thus depleting both of my medical savings and insured out of hospital accounts. I have made numerous phone calls to discovery to sort out the accounts and deduct the money from the correct benefits. I called the customer complaint department last week and I was told that the problem would be sorted out soon. To this day, no progress has been made and in the meantime I have to pay cash for prescription medication while knowing that I still have thousands of rands of medical savings and insured out of hospital benefits left. My next step, I suppose would be to contact the medical aid ombudsman.
I have been trying to end a mtn contract due to pathetic service from summer mobile for more than a week already. Summer Mobile is apparently a 3rd party that announces themselves as mtn South Africa. Mtn has been giving me the run around and no one is taking responsibilty. when one begins to show agitation, they mtn threaten you that they will end the call. i have been a customer of mtn for more than 15 years and I have 3 contracts with them and never have I experienced such pathetic service and total incompetency of employees and customer relations. Thus before considering a contract with mtn, I am warning you to be aware of there total reluctance regarding customer service. Best would be to not use mtn as a service provider.
