Gapcover worries
I am waiting for Insuremed to let me know if they will be covering my shortfall, it has taken 3 weeks of backwards and forwards with requests for documents. It's as if I am stealing food out their starving children's mouths.

Vouchers from small businesses
Hi there, just a warning to customers who purchase gift vouchers from small businesses. I was given a voucher, with no expiry date on it. When I went to redeem the voucher Ragland in Pietermaritzburg who refused to honour the voucher, stating that the voucher was declined as it was a "special" and the voucher had expired. This was a very embarrassing situation for me as I had requested that Ragland contact me about the voucher. Which the manager felt that this was not important enough to do. Perhaps the small business could have included an expiry date.

SCRATCH AND DENT POLICY
For those of you who are thinking about purchasing a scratch and dent policy..... DON'T. I have had 12 days of run around, being passed from consultant to consultant at Optimum Insurance, wasting my time and money trying to get an answer or information about my claim. This has been going on since 10th June. My first consultant was a Mr F Verster and apparently if you go off sick at this business no one follows up on your work or clients. Needless to said I haven't heard anything back from Mr F Verster. I have have made numerous attempts to contact anyone who is the least but interested in my difficulties. I have have also contacted Barlow Ford in Pietermaritzburg who tried to contact the insurance but with very little success. After phoning several times today I was told that a memo, email I has been sent to the "mobile repairs" who will come to fix my dent. I am sick of the service I have received from this company. Once again I will have to wait until next week for any further action.
