This review is pertaining to the Krystal Beach restaurant. This is by far the worst restaurant experience I've had this whole year. Very unprofessional service and totally unacceptable waiting time. Would NOT recommend! You could not pay me enough to go back to that place!

*****sters I booked a room that according to the hotel’s website has a plunge pool. On getting to the room there was no plunge pool and when checking with the front desk, we were informed that they only have one room with a plunge pool which was already taken. Nowhere on their website is there anything stating that there is only one room with a plunge pool but the rates are exactly the same

I am very disappointed with this hotel. I have been coming here every January for the past 4 years. I love the place but this year will be my last and if this is the treatment one gets after paying so much money, I would not recommend it to anyone anymore. I am booked here for 5 nights. Today is my last night. I have decided that to get another place and extend my stay here in the WC. I can’t wait to get out of this place. I did not enjoy my stay at all. Besides it being a beautiful hotel with very friend restaurant staff, their house-keeping is the worst. I am appalled at the service I received this year. Ever since I got here my room gets cleaned after 3pm. I reported to the receptionist on that was on duty yesterday that I don’t have the sign that instruct them I clean my room yet I see it on other rooms. I also reported that I am working while on vacation so I cant work peacefully when I keep seeing dirty glasses and a full bin. I even asked them to provide me with cleaning material because I need to clean the room. I was told house keeping prioritise the customers that need to check in that day hence they only clean our rooms very late. House keeping did not change my bed sheets twice. If the rule is they do not change bedding daily, I don’t mind but Reception told me they are supposed to change my bedding daily but they don’t do that. I have to go back to a white bedding with visible makeup stains if I took a nap during the day with make-up on. The floors never gets hoovered, they only focus on the shower and wiping the basin. The balcony is so dirty there is water that has not been cleaned since New Years Eve when we got there. We could not even enjoy chilling outside all these nights. We were 3 in the suite but on day 2 they did not give us water. When I asked if we only get complimentary water on the day of arriving, one of the housekeeping ladies told me that she only has one bottle of water. And that is what we were given. I sat in my suite and waited hoping they fetch us water and we ended up going downstairs to buy some water. I refuse to believe everyone booked here is experiencing these problems. I don’t know which scale they use to measure if you deserve a good treatment. But I have noticed that they don’t treat everyone the same. I say this coz last year again we were given a small stuffy room on the upper 4th floor. Definitely not what I had booked. I showed them pics of the room I booked on the App. I was then given a beautiful suite facing the ocean. I even found another check-in card inside that small room, addressed to a Mr Mahommed. Very appalling. I am sure even Sun1 treats their customers better this.

We waited up to an hour and she eventually turned up. The room we booked on Booking.com was doubled booked and they put us in another room without informing us that was ugly and cold and made no sense ... that we DID NOT WANT. We booked the Luxury King Suite, which is a very specific room and has a pool and a private balcony. I still called on Friday to confirm my booking and no one even then informed us of the error. We drove 166km to have our "special valentines day evening" at Krystal Beach they completely RUINED it. I will never ever ever ever ever EVER go back there again.</p>

<p>Our family including my brother from abroad went to the Krystal Beach Hotel's restaurant yesterday for lunch. What a disaster! Overall service by waitress & kitchen management very poor. Buffet very limited & basic. Carpets & windows dirty. Over priced. Not worth even one star. Would definately not visit again.</p>
