Not often I feel compelled to write a review on a business, but don't really know how else to thank Nardus and the team for helping me out! My pump and filter stopped working on 28 Dec, and I didn't know how I was going to get it repaired in this time of the year and keep the fish alive. Nardus and his team were there the next day and fixed the problem. The pump (as I suspected) needed replacing (it would turn for a couple of minutes then stop). Wynand showed me the piece of the pump that had worn down completely. The filter also needed a proper clean (which I hadn't been doing), which was a job for a strong stomach!!! They got everything working better than before, and gave me a crash course on how to maintain the pond. Thanks so much!!!
My reviews keep getting removed so let me try again. I ordered from this business on 26 April and have still not received my item. When I tried contacting them on their live chat on their website they don't respond. I emailed customer services email address and they don't respond. I put up a bad review on Hello Peter mid June suddenly got a reply with an excuse that the order had been cancelled on their side (yet they never refunded me the money) and promised to ship the item on the week of 29 June. They then asked me if I would remove the review from Hello Peter. I said I would update it if and when I ever receive the items I paid for. It is now 9 July and I still haven't received my item. At least this time I got a reply from a different person in customer services to ask for the order number again so they could look into it, but it feels like I am back at square one with this problem. Before you buy from this business, please go read all the other review on Hello Peter because I am not the first person who sends them money and never receives their goods.
Total scam and rip off. I placed an order on 26 April and t8 weeks later I still hadn't receive my items. They don't respond to the instant chat on their website and they ignored my emails to customer services. Only when I placed a scathing review on Hello Peter (which now seems to have been removed?!) did someone reach out. They gave me some excuse about the order being cancelled on their system (if it was cancelled then why didn't I get my money refunded I wonder?) and they promised to dispatch the order in the week of 29 June 2020. They then asked if I could please remove the Hello Peter review. I said I'd update the review if and when I ever receive my item or my money. A week later I'm still waiting and no one has reached out. At least this time someone replied to my email to customer services. Do yourself a favour and go read all the other 1 star reviews. I'm not the only person who has been scammed by them.
Excellent service! I have three dogs on Medipet, and tell any pet owner I know to take out insurance with them. Their customer service has been incredible, and claims are processed swiftly. My only regret was that I didn't take out insurance sooner, as now I have some existing conditions that are excluded. I totally understand that, and try to convince everyone to take out insurance sooner rather than later.
ONLINE SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER!! I feel that even 1 star is too much for them. I placed an online order on 26 April 2020, and have still not received my order. I sent a message to their customer services about 6 weeks later, and they just ignore your message. This is an online scam - they take your money and give you nothing in return. (Just FYI, the item was an essential item under lockdown rules.)
What a pleasure dealing with a Discovery. I had only recently moved to Discovery Insure when I had a power surge problem that caused extensive damage. Special shout out to Decious Banyini and Darren Okkers for their world class customer service.
