Attention Takealot Management/CEO: **Order number**: MRRN-68GRZ-BG9B. **Ordered**: 4 December 2024. **Opened and used**: 19 January 2025. **Return requested**: 19 January 2025. **Reason for return**: Item defective and does not work at all. **Return concluded and rejected:** 23 January 2025. **Emails sent to Takealot:** 24 January 2025 x 5. **Final decision from Takealot**: 24 January 2025 at 19:29 pm: Return and refund denied. ***Consumer Protection Act states the following:*** "Consumers are entitled to products in good quality and safe working condition and free of defects. Products must comply with the standards ACT NO 29 of 1993 or any other ACT REGULATIONS. c) Right to imp**** warranty of quality The producer, importer, distributor and supplier must warrant that the goods comply with requirements of being of good quality, durable and safe for the use as advertised or designed. **If goods are of inferior quality, unsafe or defective the consumer may return the product within a period of six months at the expense of the supplier.** **Suppliers are obliged to repair, refund or replace the failed, defective or unsafe products**".
I suspect this is one big ****. I went on to their website a while back to read about the "courses" they offered, and completed an online form on Facebook. I decided not to pursue it because it was too expensive, since then I have been inundated with cellphone calls from different numbers in South Africa despite me stating that I'm not longer interested. Nothing stops them calling, and I mean nothing, no matter how many numbers I block they continue to call from different numbers. Avoid them!!!!

I am highly disgusted with Courier Guy, Pathetic poor device, I booked an urgent reverse collection from my Supplier in Jhb (from which they have collected MANY times before since I started using The Courier Guy). They did not collect from my Supplier with the excuse that \ they don't know the address"???!!!. Despite the fact that the address is ON THEIR SYSTEM!! Exactly how long does it take to READ the address?? Two days?? Because my parcel I booked from Jhb to Benoni is STILL not in my possession! Their excuse is \"" we tried to call you\"""
