These guys are bad news, avoid at all costs. Owner (Jonathan and daughter Shannon ) are professional ****mers, these have moved premises multiple times the last 6 years to avoid MIOSA and NCC - there are multiple cases logged against them. Avoid!!!
Took my daughter for x-rays at the Milnerton Medi-Clinic branch mid June 2024. I was advised that my medical would not pay and had to settle all costs on the day. A week later I receive a notification from my medical that 50% of the invoice was covered and paid to M&P. I emailed them (accounts@morton.co.za) on the 3rd July requesting a refund. It's now the 18th July, 3 emails later, still no response, no acknowledgement, no refund. Disgusting service from these guys.
I've been a customer of Discovery Bank for over 7 years, and their customer service seems to be getting worse over the years - to the point where I want to change back to my previous bank. I called them on the 20th February to query a transaction that went off my cheque account that was not authorised - they advise I would need to complete a refund request and another agent was going to call me back. 1 and a half months later - and no one has called me back !!!
I logged a complaint on Hellopeter with regards to issues with my Discovery Miles on the 14 December 2022. I received a response from Discovery, stating the matter will be investigated. I have not received any feedback , ONE MONTH LATER !!! Reference : 8939034 14 Dec 2022, 09:54 Hi Wesley I apologise for this experience that you have had with us regarding this matter. I will investigate the matter and then revert back to you once I have feedback. Regards Beatrice.
I've been a Discovery Bank Customer for 3 years, I have a Black Cheque account product with them. Their customer service can only be described as atrocious for a bank targeting the higher LSM market. In the most recent incident, I called through to their contact Centre several times to query why my Discovery Miles balance has been reflecting a negative balance for over a year. Eventually I managed to get a reference number : 8939034, with promise to get back to me 'soon', Its been over 2 months now and no feedback. Absolutely pathetic customer service
I am a Platinum member of Legalwise, for over 10 years. I reached out to them in April 2022 to assist with drafting a will. We've had back and forth communications via email and a few calls, but 2 months later, I have not heard back from them in over a month and my will has still not been completed.
I logged a query with Discovery Bank on the 23 May (REF : 6985014) with regards to a suspected fraudulent transaction on my cheque account. I was promised feedback 'within 72 hours' . By Saturday, 28 May, I received no feedback , so I called the called back. The consultant I spoke to mentioned my 'case was rejected' - and provided some incoherent reason. I asked for the fraud investigator to call me back to explain (he was not working on the day) - to date (02 June), I've still had not response from Discovery Bank. Absolutely pathetic client service. Note, I've been a client for over 4 years.
I've had home and buildings cover with Dialdirect for the last 5 years. Logged a claim with them to fix cupboards that were damaged due to a water leak. After the assessor came out, I've had no feedback from Dialdirect since, 4 months later !! Tried calling them multiple times, getting nowhere. I am shopping around for other insurance providers.
Been trying to contact these guys as per the details on their website, to enquire about deliver to non main centres - tried both the whatsapp and email channels ( there's no contact number provided). No response, 3 days later. Pathetic service.
My wife purchased 2 T-Shirts for me from the Table Bay Mall (Cape Town) branch of Truworths Man on the 23/10/2022. The receipts for the purchases were thrown away by our housekeeper. Unfortunately, these were 2 small, and when I tried to exchange them ( both T-Shirts had the price tags attached) the cashier refused to as she insisted on a receipt. I asked her to if I could provide a bank statement as proof of purchase, and I mentioned to her my wife was on the loyalty programme, but she still refused - even after consulting with the store manager. How can a bank statement, proving that the purchase was made, not be sufficient? Why cant Truworths obtain the details from the loyalty programme records ??
