I needed some information sent to me and they were able to do it very quickly, and didn't keep me on the line.
I had a great experience with the team. I had a faulty remote for my U6H TV and I sent an email to the Hisense south africa team. They responded within a day and asked for my receipt. I sent it and they asked for the model of the remote explaining that it will still be under warranty within 6 months. As the TV was bought 4 months ago I got my new remote 3 days after i sent the part model number. No hassles. Great job. A happy customer!
Good day. I bought a vehicle at BB Welkom. The car had some parts changed as the car had an issue as per the Consumer protection act. Now BB Welkom refuses to cover the labour cost. Our agreement was that for everything I pay for, they will reimburse me. I was promised my service book which I haven't got, also, I haven't got the spare key and also the licensing. 2 months have passed now and I still am waiting
The gym is good but the Sauna at the Gym company End hasnt been fixed since the beginning of the year. This is unacceptable. We pay for all fascilities and yet the Sauna room isnt working. Also, the spinning bikes are old. Some dont work.
Good day, I am back here yet again to highlight my frustrations on OSTI. I have had a case logged with them Case Number M1464/20 that has been going on for over a year now. I make it a point that I check up on the matter at least 2 times a month. At some point during the proceedings of the case I was told that the insurer will be advised to settle for the fire damage caused during the accident and upon refusal, the case will be escalated and eventually the insurer should be in a position to pay. On the 15th of September I was told that the case has now moved from the person who was handling it to another person. This to me comes with a lot of frustration because now I do not have hope of justice being done on my part. It seems that this case will be dragged until I forget, with the insurer left to continue with business as usual. Can OSTI please assist me and just finalize the case and go through the means to ensure that the insurer pays for it's part with regard to the matter? I have been financially constrained for over a year now and it is now seeming that this will take longer to finalize. The situation is really desperate for me now as I am financially severely affected by the prolonging of the matter.
Good day, I had come here to express my frustration about the institution in conversation previously. It is now the second time I am forced to resort to such a platform in hopes that my issue is resolved. Approximately 3 months back I had written about a case where my insurer ABSA i-Direct refused/s to pay for my vehicle which was involved in an unforeseen circumstantial damage and OSTI taking a very long time to conclude the case (Case number: M1464/20) On the 14th of April 2021 after writing on this platform, I received correspondence from OSTI stating that "It is in terms of equity that the insurer is instructed to settle the fire damaged" . From then I had been waiting in hopes for a possible settlement from the insurer of approximately R70 000 towards my vehicle finance. But till today, I am told that the matter is still being worked on (according to correspondence I got on the 24th of May 2021). Every month, I am debited the full amount of the vehicle and am in financial constraint because of this delay, especially with the situations COVID has bestowed upon us. Can we please get the insurer to pay now, this case has spanned for almost a year now without end.
Good day, I write this with great sadness, I registered a case with OSTI on the 22nd of July 2020. The case is against ABSA i-Direct insurance refusing to pay out my car as my insurance. It is now 9 months and the case is still not resolved. The last time I engaged OSTI on the progress of the matter I was told that OSTI has made it's investigations and sent an informal recommendation to ABSA . When I enquired on the 11th of March 2021, I was responded to on the 18th of March 2021 as follows: " Good day, we refer to your e-mail below, We apologize for our delayed response which has been due to high volumes of correspondence and complaints in our office, kindly be advised that your matter is still being attended to and we will revert in due course, we appreciate your patience in this regard" The sad thing is that I am paying for a car I shouldn't be paying for because it was insured. Every month, ABSA deducts money from me and yet they are refusing to pay out the car as they were my insurance. when I engaged this via ABSA I was told that they will only engage with OSTI. Yet OSTI is quiet. This case has gone on for to long and the fact that an informal recommendation was given to ABSA I expect a Formal recommendation sent out and thereafter if the insurance still refuses the matter is referred to a formal ruling. Why is a case that had already been investigated and an informal recommendation sent taking so long? I am financially affected. Please help!
