Having had 41 teaching experience and in my final years, leaving the school that was so close to my heart, was a total disaster. A new Principal was appointed by the DOE and he s****ped farewells to educators retiring, in spite of the immense contribution made by retirees. In my situation, I brought in R300 000 into the school coffers by running the school tuckshop. I was instrumental in fundraising by supporting Love to Live fun run/walk and organizing school fun run/walk. I arranged concerts and purchased water feature and fountain for the school from its proceeds. I was involved in many other projects at the school and was in charge of course selection, prefects, sport, staff minutes, stationery distribution to learners, ground duty roster, games day, career day. Yet, the Principal never ever gave me (and other retirees) the chance to officially bid farewell to my colleagues and to the learners, with whom a strong bond was fostered.

They advertise car mats at an unbelievable low price of r183, then when making payment, the money goes into another account, where the conditions put you as a member, forcing you to pay in Euros two more payments. Such people, it seems are getting away, if I may use the phrase "with nurder".

Telkom is a pathetic service provider. I'm a current cellphone contract holder and am praying for the contract to expire so I can move on to another network. Why? About 4 weeks ago, I enquire at the Telkom Express, Liberty Makk for the Acer i3 bundle. The consultant, Natasha takes down my drtsils and promises to get back to me. After 2 weeks, no reply... So I go there and enquire. I'm told that the offer is no longer available as there's no stock. I'm advised to go to the other store at the mall. Upon going there and waiting and waiting, I'm told that there is only one available, but it's for a customer. The consultant checks on the system and says stock is available at Pavilion and at Gateway. The next day, I go to Pavilion. There at the 1st store, I'm told there's only 1,but it's reserved for a client. At the other store, I'm advised to go back to Telkom and apy at the store, where they will order me one. The same evening, u phone the atekom call Centre, speak to a consultant, Ntobeko, who does my aoucayion online. He promises to call me back after 10 min, as he wanted to query something with his supervisor who was busy at a meeting. After 45 min, with no response from him, I call the call Centre. It so happens that he answers the call, asks me for my cell no and promises to get back to me. He assured me that there's no hassle with my application, and tells me there's stock. 2 days pass and he does not call me. I then call the Telkom call Centre, speak to a consultant who tells me there's no stock. I then call the manager at Telkom, Pavilion who advises me to go in person to the store and apply for the product. I go to the Telkom store in Liberty Mall, wait for 45 min, advised by the queue lady that it's okay and I can ask them to. Place an order. U was number 44 in the queue. When it's my turn, they tell me there's no stock. There are only 11 available nationwide and that they are sorry. They can't order me one as there's no serial number. The same evening, I apply online via Telkom and the process goes through. Then, Telkom says my apucation is declined for security reasons and that there are no stock of the laptop deal. This is sheer madness. I'd better go give my business to Vodacom or another more deserving service provide. Telkom... Your company sucks. You are all pathetic people. It's as if we, the customer, must beg, to get a product..Yet we are gonna pay for it.... I hate Telkom. I'll never support Telkom.
