Pathetic "switchboard service" Useless Bot route A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME BY THE CALLER/CLIENT Have a person answering your call Indicate approximate waiting time and number in queue
I bought a "suspect" dog biscuit product from Makro, Cape Gate earlier today. Noticed something odd re the best before date on it. I phoned the national call centre 4 times, wanting to speak to the Store Manager re this product. Spent/wasted 13 minutes in total on the phone not getting anywhere close to speak to an official/Store Manager at CGate. After a few minutes holding on the call went over to "rating the interaction". This system is useless, time and money wasting for their clients to engage with an official or wanting to get some info. This call centre is the WORST I've ever uncounted. Pathectic service/total lack thereof
I had to make an unplanned booking at G&C for a tappet cover gasket replacement, it unfortunately escalated to more needed repairs with analysis. Shaun kept me up to date all the time, went out of his way to find cheaper options for parts, which he did successfully, a huge thank you to Shaun, also, to the technician involved and once again also thank you to Oom Piet for picking me up and dropping again and the lekke chats, as always, once again. THIS SERVICE PROVIDER IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Another successful and pleasant visit to G&C with my Focus. Thank you once again Shaun and team for a successful visit for repairs, and, thank you to Oom Piet for the pleasant chats when fetching me
What is going on with ABSA's notifications, sms and in APP, what is listed at the bank (face to face) is not what is happening at all. No in APP notifications for current account, on/off sms for credit account, yet settings done by bank consultant is for in APP notifications for both accounts
Cobra taps used to be thee top brand taps in the country. This is however loong gone, their after sales service is now non existent. I bought 2 sink mixers (1 Cobra, 1 another brand) from BuildIt, Cape Gate on 14/8/2023. After a few months the Cobra mixer started making a funny noise when opening it. Went back to BuildIt, Manager, who is very helpful, gave me some lubrication. Tried it without any improvement. Went back, was given a new mixer on 5/9/2024. Low and behold, after a few months, same story, funny noise, almost like a dry/rusted old toilet door. Went back to BuildIt on 27/2/2025, for the 2nd time. The Manager informed Cobra Cape Town again re the problem and history of the 2 mixers and emailed them ALL the details/problems with the basin mixer. He/I was promised that a Technician will be sent out to sort out the problem. To date, 18/3/2025, STILL NO CONTACT OR VISIT BY COBRA TECHNICIAN, 3 WEEKS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN PURCHASE A COBRA TAP PRODUCT AND WILL ADVISE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME, THEY ARE PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What has been happening with the ABSA Credit Card management the whole day, could not use the card-"insufficient funds" yet more than enough funds available. Cannot get thru to any contact numbers, started getting sms's te reached limits for cheque card all of a sudden as well + insufficient funds in credit card yet some transactions went thru at point of sale
I logged 5 requests/faults during Jan 2025 via the COCT APP. Received no sms acknowledgement/progress etc. Phoned the call centre today at13:37, waited for almost 30 minutes for a consultant. There are 2 types of consultants, those who are helpful, pleasant etc to deal with, then the other lot; not user friendly, dont want to be there', mislik, unpleasant etc. Unfortunately I got the latter today, think the name is Simphiwe??????, unfortunately did not record this call today. I told her i have 5 ref numbers to be checked, started with 1 to 3 then all of a sudden at number 4 abruptly told me I can only help with 3 must phone back for the others. I told only 2 more, well the only response was only 3 and cut the call This is an individual who has no idea what it means to be a public servant who happens to pay her salary package. These types do NOT belong in the public service or dealing with clients
Consultant Brad was absolutely brilliant, very understanding, accommodative, regarding my needs, affordability and his suggestions to reduce the new monthly premium
Another successful, enjoyable trip to G&C with our 2nd vehicle for a service. Thank you once again Shaun for the pleasant service, engagement with other staff members when waiting for Oom Piet for a once again lekke chat on my way home, picking up again, and when collection the vehicle, lekke chat with Mrs Foot Continue with your excellent service at very reasonable prices All in all a lekke experience again Cheers till next time
