Poor Service from Cobra / Lixel
I have installed 24 Cobra Stella type taps, I wanted to service / change the washers on the taps yet when trying to loosen the nut holding the washer in place the threads break off, these were tightened by the factory. I cannot therefore replace the tap washers, it has been a week since I contacted Cobra (Nathi) yet still no progress has been made. Today after a week he tells me that the store has to log a fault and not me, why was this not told to me last week. Cobra seems to not care. I ordered a kitchen mixer and waited almost three weeks for it to be supp****. What is going on with this company lately? Always had good service feedback yet in the last month they seem to have gone downhill.

Poor Service from Cobra / Lixel

PATHETIC AFTER SALES SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS
Cobra taps used to be thee top brand taps in the country. This is however loong gone, their after sales service is now non existent. I bought 2 sink mixers (1 Cobra, 1 another brand) from BuildIt, Cape Gate on 14/8/2023. After a few months the Cobra mixer started making a funny noise when opening it. Went back to BuildIt, Manager, who is very helpful, gave me some lubrication. Tried it without any improvement. Went back, was given a new mixer on 5/9/2024. Low and behold, after a few months, same story, funny noise, almost like a dry/rusted old toilet door. Went back to BuildIt on 27/2/2025, for the 2nd time. The Manager informed Cobra Cape Town again re the problem and history of the 2 mixers and emailed them ALL the details/problems with the basin mixer. He/I was promised that a Technician will be sent out to sort out the problem. To date, 18/3/2025, STILL NO CONTACT OR VISIT BY COBRA TECHNICIAN, 3 WEEKS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN PURCHASE A COBRA TAP PRODUCT AND WILL ADVISE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME, THEY ARE PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POOR QUALITY OF KITCHEN MIXER
I have always purchased Cobra taps. Last year I purchased a Cobra Mixing tap for my kitchen sink as we changed the washers too many times and found that we needed another tap. However, it’s not even a year, I had to purchase another unit, because after changing the washers 3 times, we found that the water was dripping too fast. This is getting ridiculous to say the least. I am 66 yrs old. I have never experienced this problem of replacing mixers as I am doing in the past 2 years. This has to be poor quality of the mixer, and nothing else. We are seniors trying to make ends meet. This morning it cost me R800 for another mixer. I am very disappointed and upset.

Excellent service by COBRA Online
I ordered a Sink Tap Mixer from COBRA Online on Wednesday, 15th June, and it arrived by courier today at midday. When I ordered it, they apologized that due to the public holiday yesterday, it could only be delivered today. I am very impressed by their excellent service.

Excellent service by COBRA Online
I ordered a Sink Tap Mixer from COBRA Online on Wednesday, 15th June, and it arrived by courier today at midday. When I ordered it, they apologized that due to the public holiday yesterday, it could only be delivered today. I am very impressed by their excellent service.

Cobra Taps are the best!
One of my Cobra taps developed a serious leak, making it non-usable. I picked up 2 business cards from my local hardware store, hoping that one of the companies would be able to assist me. The first company - "Odd Jobs" - did not bother answering either of their two numbers and did not bother to call back either. The 2nd card was a company called "Plumbtech" came out and said that the unit was outdated and could not be repaired and a new unit would cost me in the region of R2000. I subsequently called Cobra in Krugersdorp. Well, not only did one of their technical men guide me on how to fix it, they also sent the required part with one of their staff who lived close to my salon. Cobra went the extra mile - they were friendly, professional & more than happy to assist me, and I now have a tap that is once again working perfectly. Unbelievable customer service!

We would just like to give feedback about the recent service we received from Cobra. We had a leak from the bath mixer in our bathroom and we got a handyman out to look at it. He immediately contacted Cobra and within minutes of making that call I received a call from Cobra asking for our address so they could send someone out to have a look at what the problem was. The same day I received a phone call from Diego Philander asking if he could come around to inspect the mixer and within ten minutes he was at our front door. He inspected the mixer and after a few minutes told us what the problem was and that he would be back on Monday (this was the Friday if I remember correctly). True to his word he was back on Monday and sorted the problem out in no time. Considering that this mixer was bought and installed some six or so years ago, we definitely did not expect that Cobra themselves would have sent someone out to fix the problem, and all of that free of charge. We are most impressed with this service and hereby extend our thanks to you and your team for excellent service. We will highly recommend Cobra to friends and family in future.
