Please do not use this company - they are a ****. They claimed to have me pay R 13 750.00 for a crate that the puppy would be transported in - client reviews on the website are duplicated and the people who "wrote" the reviews do not exist. Also spelling errors and typical "****mers language" are used. They work with PETFARM - do not use them please!

On the 24th of October (Tuesday) I drove to Belville and submitted my documents to the Belville branch. I resigned from the Motor Industry and wanted to claim my money seeing as I did not have to belong to a Trade Provident Fund anymore. So the lady there was very friendly and explained everything to me. She said that I should phone in a few days and check with her if everthing was in order. The 27th of October (same week Friday) I phoned and they confirmed that all documents were received and that I did not have anything outstaning. Great! I thought to myself how wonderful this process would be claiming my provident fund, you know, seeing as it is MY MONEY that I have been working hard for and that I entrusted Mifa with to keep for me until I decided to leave the Motor Trade. She said that the claim would take about 4-6 weeks to be paid out. The lady at the Belville branch was so friendly and helpful that she gave me hope for a smooth claim, she made me happy for saving my money with such a "great company" and even gave me hope for a "better South Africa" BUT OH BOY WAS I WRONG. I didnt phone the Mifa office for about two weeks after I handed in my papers, you know, I wanted to give them a little time to sort everything out. On the 2nd of November (The week after I handed in my papers) I received a lovely sms from Mifa confirming that they have sent my Application to the Mifa Fund Administrators and that they will keep me updated. So I waited for three weeks and no one updated me on anything. The 20th of November I contacted the Mifa Offices. I phoned 7 times before someone answered (The line rings until 5 minutes and 48 seconds before it drops) But I am sure you guys in the Mifa office must know that because you can hear the phone ring yet you still do not answer. How stupid of me to expect that you have the ability to answer a phone the FIRST time? So on the 8th try (lucky me!) a woman answered and the woman informed me that my claim is currently at the SARS department. So I guess there was progress right? Then she said to me it takes about 4-8 weeks to be paid out. Wait, what happend to the 4-6 weeks? So on the 27th of November (one week later) I phoned again (can you believe it, I only had to phone 5 times before someone answered, they must have been having a good day at the office to give such once in a life time good customer service!) I spoke yet to another lady that informed me that my claim has already been paid out, and that they have sent me a sms? So at this time I was confused, seeing as I only have one bank account, were no money was deposited, and I only have one cellphone were no sms was sent to? So yet again, I phoned around trying to figure out who the lucky person was that Mifa paid my money to - because it sure as hell wasnt paid to me. So I phoned again on the 1st of December (the next week) hoping that someone has found the lost money or the person to whom they paid the money to and eventually on the 9th try someone answered. Wow, it must been a busy day hey! Apparently I had to email them my bank statement showing them that I wasnt lying about not receiving the money. So I sent my email with my bankstatements - and I got back - you guessed it - NO REPLY. Yet again I waited. She said to me that I must keep in mind that the claim takes about 4-16 weeks to be paid out. WAIT, now it it 4-16 weeks? What happend to the 4-6 and the 4-8 weeks? Mifa, does time differ in your offices to what it does in the earthly realm outside your office? Does the time get extended everytime someone phones to ask about the process of the claim? Because if that is the case, you really should warm people by putting that in your fine print. So I waited another 10 days and on th10th of December I phoned again, and now the lady said my claim was in the Divorce department. So I guess they must have found the lost money that some poor guy had to pay back - or the money was never really paid out - although they said it was? Do Mifa take the money for themselves? And lie to their trusting customers and say that it has been paid out even if they know it wasnt - and if you dont ask questions about it they just take it home running? On the 17th of December I thought we had a breaktrough! I received this sms below - "Dear Member. Kindly note that your claim is being processed and will be finalized by 24/12/2020. To check updates on your claim, click: http://wa.me/2787240639" (And I dont know if you are aware of this Mifa, but your Whatsapp line also DOES NOT WORK! no suprise there) So with this sms, I thought YEAH lets wait for the 24th of December like the sms said? Dum dum dum....guess what? 24th rolled around and no money - no feedback - no customer service - NOTHING. Obviously I phoned, and this time no one answered. (Although they were still open) I phoned Mifa again on the 4th of January and no one answered - they are probably still in holiday mode. I would just like to understand - how difficult it is to receive papers - go thru the process - and pay the customer their money. Do you guys need help? Does your company need guidlines on how to do things in a profeciant way? Do you need better equipment and systems? Do you need professional help tp teach your employees telephone ettiquet or how not to lie to customers? Because I can recommend a few companys that would be more than willing to help you with training? So with this review Mifa, I would just like to empasise on how terrible your customer service is - on how horrendous your feedback - and on how sad this company is as a whole. I wonder if the person that started this company ever walks thru its corridors or looks at the ratings and the wat it operates now and what utter dissapointment they must feel knowing that everything they built just went to ****? So this is a promise - from one of your many unhappy Mifa customers, that from this day - until the day I receive my R18k - I will not stop. Is there actually people that get their money?? I see you guys can play Mifa, so lets have some fun.
Nhlanhla was absolutely wonderful! He sorted out a issue with my confirmation of cover in half an hour, and I was struggling with it for more that a week. He actually phoned me back when he said he would and he is so funny! Peku also made my day! He is so friendly and helpful, I wish there were more people like them in the world!!
Spent 38 minutes on the phone with a consultant. They offered me R1200 MORE than my current insurer. Consultant said that he sent the link? Consultant lied. Phoned back four times, apparently consultant had 4 lunch breaks in one day. Looks like the consultants have been trained to avoid? This is what I don't get, how can a company as big as Outsurance not honour their promises? It is shocking how many people complain about not receiving their R400? Yes, where is my R400 Outsurance? As a settled company for many years now I would like to believe that you know the consumers rights, Outsurance. And this is important, listen up, WHAT YOU ADVERTISE, YOU MUST DELIVER! IT IS THE LAW! And Outsurance does not, apparently you don't know the law and you don't care about your promises, nor your potential clients. You have lied to so many people, you even have your consultants lying to clients now? I am going to start a movement to get people away from Outsurance, because it is so sad that there are so many companies out there that treats the clients like kings, and really looks after them. But Outsurance really just uses people, scamming them out of their money (yes I read all the other reviews to) asking their employees to LIE on behalf of them, and breaking the law by not delivering on what they advertised. This was the last straw for me. So may I please get my R400? It would really help with the start of my campaign. Thanks
