This department is xenophobic, rather afrophobic. They refuse to assist me even after producing a valid passport and valid critical skills work permit!
Netstar do not want with my refund. They have promised to do it after 14 working days and they have not honored that until now. The customer service consultants so rude
I asked for my tax free investment transfer through the new fund managers on 20 July, until now, not even a single person at old mutual can assist. All what they are good at is to quickly respond at hellopeter reviews and not resolving the rot in their unprofessional company. Extremely poor service and it sucks.
I have been contributing my kids' tax free investment. Now it is time to transfer the funds to a different fund manager. No one at old mutual can respond to emails or explain anything. They are such a bunch of useless fund managers and one need not to entrust them with hard earned money.
The worst delivery company, their delivery guys are muppets. Their Joburg driver (Godfrey) called me to confirm if I was available to receive the parcel (12 July 2024). I confirmed told him I was not home but he must let me know when he gets there so that someone can receive the parcel. He gets at the gate and started hooting until a neighbour chased him away for making noise. And off he went without calling me. When I saw it was getting late, I decided to check on him and he stupidly told me he tried hooting and was chased away. Now I have to wait for Monday 15 July for a parcel shipped on 8 July from Durban to Joburg.
I lost my id and phones to thieves. I then went to cell c Eastgate to do a sim swap with my ID copy. They refused to assist saying i need the original ID, which is stolen and will take long to get. The consultant advised me to buy a new and unregistered sim to do a sim swap via call centre. When i call the call centre, they tell me they cant help and i must go to a branch. This is after using the same sim for more than 5 years. This is bull ****, extremely poor service.
ABSA are daylight robbers. I went and open an account at ABSA eastgate. I then did a R100 cash deposit at their atm. Few days later, the account was closed and they accused me of using fraudulent documents. I took it up with them and i was told it was a mistake and i should open another account. When i asked of my cash deposit, i was told i can not get it since the manager was not there. I then opened another account as advised, and deposited another R100. This account is closed again. Absa is just a **** institution. Can i get my R200 and walk away from this bunch of confused thieves!
I went to Absa Eastgate, openned an account and did my initial cash deposit. 2 days later I did eft payment to the Absa account and the money bounced back. After enquiring, Absa told me my work permit is fraudulent. I asked if I can get back my initial deposit, even net of charges. I was told I have to see the manager who was also not on the branch. Why then did the bank open the account and accept my cash deposit? Is this not stealing from the general populace? It's just a smart scam. Replicate that modus operandi to a thousand customers and you will be several hundred thousands richer.
Never waste your time and hard earned money buying from this scam company. They will deliver a different product and after that they will never reply your emails and messages and calls.
