Medihelp is still being an absolute nightmare even after terminating my contact with them on the 7th of February 2025. They debited money in my account on the 26th of February which is fine and now they took me to debt collectors and are sending letters to take me to the credit bureau because they couldn’t access my account in March. They debited in March after I had cancelled the contract, why do they want to debit in March when I’m not in service of their product? I called the debtors department and she was being so defensive and she hung up the call on me. This happened because she kept saying my contribution for February (which they took) was for March and I’m like okay, if it’s for March why do you want to debit for March again and she hung up on me
970 negative reviews should tell us that Medihelp should not be an option for anyone. I’ve written about my dissatisfaction before but I’m starting to see people coming forward with the same problem as I have. I terminated my contract with Medihelp on the 7th of February 2025. The last debit order was on the 26th of February 2025. Now Medihelp has been harassing me and sending me emails that they will hand me over because I did not allow them to debit my account in March. Why do they want to debit for March when I’ve cancelled my contract beginning of February and I still allowed them to debit in February. They are referring to me serving notice; okay, I terminated on the 7th, meaning my notice ends on the 7th of March. Why do they want to debit my account twice even when I don’t have access to the service due to cancellation ? Guys, I seriously urge you not to go for Medihelp.. you will pay so much money but barely have any benefits.
I’m here again, complaining about Medihelp. I’ve never had peace since I’ve been on this medical aid. I’m due for glasses now in March (first time taking my spectacles with them) and they tell me I don’t have funds. How ??? When I’ve never taken spectacles and I pay 4K every month ? Yoh I’m so over this medical aid. All it does is just “take” but when it comes to paying ? A whole mess !!!
I’m coming here for the same service provider. Medihelp is the worst medical aid ever. They refuse to pay for an operation I did when I was hospitalised, all treatment under hospitalisation is supposed to be 100% covered. Secondly, they only paid the lab R100 out of a 1k bill for tests saying my funds are exhausted, how so when I’ve barely used my medical aid apart from fetching contraceptives ? Terrible
I was admitted in June ‘24 and I was scheduled for an operation. Anyone knows hospitalisation should be 100% covered. Medihelp is refusing to pay for my operation and it didn’t pay my hospital admission in full. Now I’m receiving calls from Netcare because Medihelp doesn’t want to pay. This is the WORST medical aid ever.
I’ve been calling Makro, waking into the store multiple times and no one is willing to assist me regarding a product I bought there that doesn’t work. I’m tired of exhaling that I bought a Microsoft 365 12 month product from their store and it worked for a month only. They REFUSE to refund me and they spent 3 full months telling me they are escalating the matter, till this day.. NO RESPONSE, NO REFUND. The manager Shakier from Makro Crown mines said he’ll sort it out in a week. It’s been 3 months. 3 full months.
I bought a Microsoft 365 package for R1000 which is meant to last for 12 months from Makro Crown mines. It only lasted for a month. I called Microsoft and they even sent an email clarifying that the system shows them that the product given to me is for a month. I went to Makro twice, I kept calling and writing emails and the a manager by the name of Shakier has been giving me empty promises. It’s been over 3 months waiting for feedback. I just want my money back. Microsoft and Makro will deal with each other.
I bought a personal Microsoft 365 package at Makro for R1000. The subscription is supposed to be for 12 months but it expired a month after I activated it. I went to Makro and they say it’s a Microsoft problem. I’ve been trying to call Microsoft but there’s no direct customer care line, just chatbots. It’s so frustrating because this is a lot of money and I literally cannot even access anything.
On the 30th of May I purchased an AirMax Dia from Sportscene online. They later sent an email saying due to the high demand the sneaker is no longer available and that they will refund me. I’ve tried different communication avenues such as sending mails and inboxing them on Twitter to get my R1 799,99 and till this very day my refund has not been processed. Kindly please assist.
I bought a Brazilian bob wig from HotDot. When it got to me it was so horrible. I’ve been contacting and texting them sending them pictures of the hair and it’s bad quality and they are ignoring me. They just read my messages and never respond. I’ve got solid proof of WhatsApp conversations between myself and the WhatsApp admin and how they ignored me when I asked for help. They generally have good hair but what they sent to me the last time was a scam
