Defective product Return and Request for refund I purchased a fan from Verimark using their online service. I received my delivery on the 2nd of September by law when does the refund /Guarantee apply? Date of Purchase or from the time I received the item? Then when an item carries a Guarantee does refund not apply? I would gladly appreciate some assistance! I purchased the fan a few days later the fan stand seemed to tilt making it impossible for us to use the fan...... I tried calling the numbers on the web and got no joy, eventually on the 17th of September I decided to use their whattsapp customer service option.... here I was rudely pushed of to use an email address.... I did just that but got no responses..... with time running out I keep calling the customer care number after a few tries finally spoke to a lady on the 22nd of September who said I should take the item to the closest Verimark store, I explained because I work long hours could only make it on a Saturday, She said that was fine. Saturday 26th of September got to my closest store, the gentleman said he hadn't heard from their headoffice. I must leave the item He will speak to them on Monday 29/09 and get back to me. Now they are looking for loopholes claiming my 15days for the refund is over...... the guy at the store has fixed the stand I must go fetch the fan....I do not find this fair
It’s been nearly a month since I requested a refund from Mattress Warehouse, and to this day, I’ve received nothing—no update, no concern, no basic customer care. We are still sleeping on the floor. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine such neglect and disregard from a company I trusted. This experience has been nothing short of torture. Perhaps Mattress Warehouse should consider sending us a massage parlor voucher to ease the pain—but let’s get back to reality. All I want is the refund I am owed. To anyone considering doing business with this company: think twice. Based on my experience, Mattress Warehouse shows no urgency, no empathy, and no accountability. Support companies that value their customers. This one clearly doesn't. At this point, I’m not just asking for a refund—I’m asking for basic human decency. Someone needs to take accountability and address this NOW. They cannot give You an upfront answer or You are blatantly ignored......
Second Complaint – Still No Refund, Still Sleeping on the Floor I am appalled by the continued lack of action from Mattress Warehouse. After being promised contact on Monday, no one has reached out, and worse — I am still without a mattress, sleeping on the floor, simply because this company cannot provide a time frame for my refund. This level of service is not just unprofessional — it’s inhumane. I have been more than patient, but it’s clear that Mattress Warehouse does not value its customers once payment has been made.
I truly regret ever ordering from Mattress Warehouse, and I’m sharing my experience here so others can be warned. On the 5th of August, I placed an online order for a mattress, drawn in by what appeared to be good value and a promised 5-day delivery. Based on this, I disposed of my old bed in preparation. Days went by with no communication from the company. I had to chase them down myself just to get an update, only to be told the delivery would now take up to 2 weeks (10 working days). Even worse, I was forced to buy a mattress protector — despite already owning one — under the claim that my mattress warranty would be void without it. This was never made clear during purchase and felt like a manipulative tactic. Feeling misled and frustrated, I cancelled the order — only to be completely ignored. After multiple follow-ups and forceful emails, I was finally told I would need to wait 30 days for a refund. That refund is still outstanding. I've been sleeping on the floor in the middle of winter, waiting for a refund to buy a bed elsewhere. Despite my emails and pleas, I'm continuously ignored. This is not just bad service — it’s inhumane. To make matters worse, I was told the branch manager, Luelle Birbal (Redhill, Durban) was "off sick", and there seems to be no one else capable or willing to assist. It feels like I’ve been ****** of both my money and dignity. This kind of inconsiderate and ********* behaviour is unacceptable. I demand my refund immediately, and I hope Mattress Warehouse is held accountable for the way they treat customers.

Huawei has the most pathetic service to offer ever...... I booked my phone in for repairs due to a damaged screen in July. They returned my phone a week ago after a long ordeal..... Only to get my phone worse than it was sent. I'm tired of calling their call centre, they do not get the relevant people to call you back. My emails are ignored......as for messenger...... They send the same message over and over. Am I the only one in this boat. I have now opted to contact Vodacom repair Centre. I'm really disappointed in Huawei.
