Uber has become so dishonest, I requested a ride on Friday the 4th of June, from Kayamandi to Guguletu… and when the driver dropped me, I did not check if the trip was ended by the driver. 45 minutes later as about to request for my next trip, I see that the trip is still on going and i try to stop it and it alludes to a cancellation fee, because i’m pressed needing to head somewhere else, and the cost is more than double the initial amount. I wrote to uber to report nothing has been resolved besides me just incurring costs on my bank Uber trying to debit my account… it is sooo upsetting because their response was that i’m not eligible for an adjustment 🤬 and im still incurring cost… coz there is no way that im paying for something i did not use. and its not the first time that I have been subjected to this level of dishonesty from the Uber services! I am livid!!! today it is the 8th and they still trying to debit my account! this is beyond unacceptable.
I had an awful experience with Game at first and the washing machine that I had bought there, however, I think it is only fair that I come here and right about the positive turn of events… Natasha the Retention’s agent that dealt with my situation was amazing, her compassion and efforts and empathy dealing with my situation was formidable… And she deserves a shine too… I know have a bit hope on Game, because of her… she deserves to be a trainer a true brand ambassador that lady is… this is the service that we should all be subjected to when we call in…
It’s been a nightmare dealing with Game. I have called in more than any customer needs to, only to be told that my email has not been assigned to anyone… after a hassle of getting my washing machine only to realise it’s not even properly functioning… calling in the customer service is like torture, no accountability and no resolution nothing whatsoever! Sent an email Sunday to report that my washing machine is not working… I was assisted by a lady that sounded like she hates her job, not to mention sounding like she was doing me a favour by assisting me ! Agent name (Aphelele) had me on hold for more than 5 minutes until my called dropped while I pleaded to speak a manager… all she did was tell me how she cannot help me with my query!!! It’s absurd! I’m I. Awe yet again with this type of non service as a customer that has paid for something that is not working! At this point I don’t even know what to do from here onwards… another one Sinesopho who vehemently promised that she has organised a call back from a manager… really the joke is on me, for the slightest hope of thinking that will happen. From December I have been waiting and waiting to speak to a manager and hahaha they are always in a meeting… makes u wonder if there are any managers there…. They seem to quickly come and answer here so hopefully this avenue will get my situated treated as it should…. I have never felt this disrespected after spending my money and thereafter treated like a number!!! Wow! I’m in utter disgust with everything this far.
We bought a washing machine on the 20th of Dec which was smooth, they the delivery inconsistency and over promising and under delivering started till this day nothing… besides me calling in and be told different stories… started with a lady called Aphelele from the Customer Service dept, she promised to make sure that she follows up never happened. Spoke to Philasande whom just did not do anything not even a call back I requested for… then Chuma whom had an attitude and said she requested a call back for me for a manager whom I requested at this point… no accountability… I have ran out of both minutes and airtime calling the call centre and being put on hold and then call drops you call again… I am appalled this has messed up my entire holiday!
It was the most putrid service ever, from the receptionist Ferai and supposedly manager Lusindiso, that considered us people that “were fighting” after being treated like people that were asking for a free bee. Never in our wildest dream did we ever think that, asking for a Wi-Fi passwords would turn into a combative match from a receptionist that asked us, do you know who I am… with such confidence like we did not matter in front of someone that claimed to be a night manager. Rude would be such understatement… no one even thought it would be polite to show us where our room was.. we had to find it ourselves after a back and forth with a service provider… Feraai. I would not recommend mojo to anyone If this was a service that people would be subjected to… it was so painful… and the receptionist did not even respect the fact that the manager was there or maybe not even the manager putting a stop to what felt like an injustice… it was cool to a point of feeling like a number
