My husband and I came here about three weeks ago. We managed to walk right through the restaurant without a single staff member greeting us or assisting us. We picked a table outside and my husband went to the loo. Sitting outside bored waiting for the 1 waiter and 2 waitresses to notice me waving my hand around, the table right next to me finally got their bill. When the lady complained about having to wait for 15 minutes (basically all the time I sat there myself), she was met with a curt "well, we're actually very busy" by a red-headed waitress. This was simply not true. For a restaurant of their size, they weren't even 1/3 full. As I waited I looked around. And you know what I found? For a place named after it's lime trees, they were in appalling condition! The soil was dry as a bone and there was an ant invasion. Ants breed aphids, which in turn decimate fruit trees! My husband and the waitress arrived at the same time. We ordered drinks only. My mocha was sickingly sweet with sugar kernels at the bottom of the glass. Preemptively we asked for the bill when we ordered but we still had to ask again later and wait for another 10 minutes. I have to add that although the food looked great, we're unlikely to return. Perhaps the problem could be solved if your waitresses don't stand around talking amongst themselves and to certain guests. If I am a potential customer and I need to wave my arms around like a seal to be noticed because your staff is too busy making googoo eyes at certain customers, then perhaps you guys are in the wrong industry. Gordon Ramsey would give you guys kick up your behinds.
Soo impressed by the customer service. I ordered online and the same day I was called to let me know that my order was packed and ready to be shipped. They also called to make sure that my postal code was correct. They added me on WhatsApp and sent me my tracking details. I will update once I have received my goods, but so far you've got my support.
Elizabeth Boots I am SOOOO disappointed. This is such a rip-off!!! I could have paid R300 for this on Runwaysale and the quality would have been way better. I thought I was supporting a company in Durban, not getting random half-jobs from China. Their feet are much smaller than ours so a 6.5 South African foot is more like a 7.5 Chinese foot. There was no transparency on your website, it has been white-washed since my purchase. Whether they're Orthopedic or not becomes irrelevant if the shoe doesn't fit right and is made with cheap materials. This is a bad buy and a harsh lesson. I will not buy from your business again or recommend you to anyone. What an absolute waste of opportunity, time, and money! 😡😭
The biggest thing you can do wrong in South Africa is sitting and freaking out about your parcel not arriving on time. It is probably wise not to even look at your tracking for at least the first two days. You can probably start freaking out on the fourth day. Usually, I forget about my parcels and continue on with my life. This time I made the mistake to open an email with my tracking number and get excited about my purchase. The business said 2-3 days for delivery. By the second day I was reading all these negative comments here and on Facebook thinking that my parcel is surely gone. And then I remembered all those lovely times I forgot about my parcel and carried on with my work. As my husband rightfully said, "A watched pot never boils." On the 3rd day, I forgot. 4 hours into work came a loud thud on the door (our doorbell died), the dog howling its head off. I opened the door to a reserved but friendly gentleman who had with my package. Just as the business said: 2-3 working days. They were on time; my expectations got the better of me. I am not saying it is this way every time. Packages do go missing and things do go wrong. I'm just saying that sometimes it's important to remember that these are people too and sometimes things go a little off course in their lives too.
