I received 5 items via Bex Express and one was broken. It took about a month and multiple phone calls (all but 2 unanswered) and emails to the George branch before I was informed by the headoffice that I had no claim due to the packaging not being up to standard. Sky at Headoffice informed me that I could have taken out insurance, but this was never offered to me as I could not do the booking on line as it was no standard items. I assume that at the time I could have taken insurance, they would have advise what packaging would be suitable. The fact that the George office did not answer their telephone and most of my emails is unacceptable and just POOR POOR service. I will never trust Bex Express to transport anything for me EVER again. Be advised!
The tracking on the Bex Express app was incorrect and showed that my goods were still in transit (for over a week), and all of a sudden it arrives at my door. Of the 3 items, 1 was broken. I immediately asked how I submit a claim and sent pictures. I have been waiting for over a week for any communication in this regard, nothing!
After waiting almost 2 weeks for samples ordered and paid for, I phoned to ask where my order was. The manager or owner told me she would phone back and let me know. I also asked that if it had been shipped, to provide me with a tracking number. When I received no further communication by two days later, I phoned to ask where the order was and why she did not give me a call as promised. I was upset BUT did not shout or swear and had the phone put down in my ear twice. When we did speak, she told me that she does not keep track of small orders. So I assume that they only treat BIG orders with professional and good service. What a shame!
As you will read on the reviews on their own website, these are people without integrity. I had an issue where they installed a borehole pump defectively (as attested to by two independent people in the field and denied by Arena Group), where the pump fell down the hole. I had to have the pump recovered from the borehole at my expense and Arena Group, after many promises refused to refund me or acknowledge any culpability. The owner also refused to meet me and once when I turned up expectedly at their premises, he slipped out the back way. Please do not use them as you will most probably be disappointed.
Arena Group installed my borehole pump. I pumped once and thereafter the pipe and pump came loose from the connector at the top of the pump and was sitting about 1m below the surface. I called Arena to try to recover my pump and they succeeded in droping the whole installation about 5m further down the borehole. I managed to eventually find a company that was able to recover the pump. I claimed and send a letter of demand via a lawyer for the cost of recovering the pump and the interim plans I had to make (this took about 3months) to water my orchards of new Macadamia trees. Arena Group, after at first agreeing to settle the claim, backtracked and denied all culpability and refused to settle my claim. I had two independant companies inspect the failed installation and provide me with a report. Both reports clearly lay the culpability at Arena Group's door. I tried on many occasions to talk to Jimmy Farnham, the MD/Director , and he refused to return or take any of my calls and when I visited their offices, I was told he was in, but was directed to another person. As I exited the building, I saw him leaving in his car. If it were possible I would give Arena Group a negative star rating for not only there poor handling of the situation but also for backtracking on their word. There after sales services is poor beyond belief and I should you need any pumps, solar, generators or any of their other products, I suggest strongly that you look elsewhere.
I previously wrote a review where I mentioned my experience in buying a Drone X from this company. I eventually received the Drone today, almost 3 months after paying. At the same time as ordering the Drone, I ordered a set of replacement blades and a better camera. The drone arrived without the set of blades and I have no way to tell whether the upgraded camera was fitted or not. I must assume that it was not. So buying this, product from this company is not easy, quick or efficient. Now I must go through the process of getting the blades and perhaps the upgraded camera and I am hoping that it does not take 3 months again.
