They quotes R350.00 for call out. This was the catch. It took Wayne 3 hrs to find a poor signal fault and kept blaming multichoice. He made me call them 7 times when it showed poor signal all along. After 3 hrs i told him just to replace the one wire. There was ons one wire to replace That replacement took another 45 min. On arrival hey told me it was the sensor at the dish that was the problem and quoted me R1350.00 to replace. What a *******.At Builders it R449.00. i told him to remove the new one as it made no difference to the signal problem.. 3.45 min he presented me with a bill of R3912.00 Of course i objected. He then became threatening. and insisted i pay him there and then. I had to get security to remove him as i was going to pay him by eft from the start. I was harassed by Chris for two hrs. Even threatening be not so bring trouble on myself and just pay up. I have kept all the messages.when my son started asking for business address, business registration no and vat invoice ,Chris told me to relax and not to worry to pay the invoice.Chris could not even work out 13.00 to 17.00 is only 4 hrs and not 5. Of course my son paid him what we thought was fair and paid R3121.00 for replacing a faulty wire which the claimed was 56 meters. At best it could be 40 meters . To make things worst i had Wayne of the phone at 8 o'clock asking if i had paid. This went on for more than one hour. He then accused me of being a white rassist ***. I have that one WhatsApp too. The proof of payment was sent to them by 22.00 last night When i read all the complains on this site i knew i had to post this. BE AWARE of this company if you can call them a company. They are a RIPOFF delux. They say they are a Multichoice accredited supplier. That i soon to find out and verify with Multichoice
On the 19 September I ordered a roll of **** grass . My order no MAK7684870 I got a full confirmation delivery date and even the company that would deliver on the 30 September. Obviously they took my money. The next morning 20 September I got a notice that the order was cancelled . No reason given. I called the 0860 600999 to query my delivery cancellation. I was told sir,we will pay back the money no problem. I asked to determine when stock would be available as I did not want my money back I wanted the stock. Mlondi promised he would get back to be by latest Friday 20 September. Today early morning the money was back in my account. Needles I checked the web and could not believe my eyes .The advert is still running. I want my purchase executed at the advertised price soonest. This is false advertising. It did not tell me when I ordered that the goods were out of stock. This is pathetic service. I in vain tried again this morning to establish when the stock would be available but they were unable to tell me. What pathetic online service Makro runs. Close it down and stop frustrating customers. I will not see how long it takes to get a response.
I called the branch it Gosforth park Germiston to ensure the car was still for sale from a advert I saw on auto trader . It was a 2012 Mercedes Benz A class. The ad rated the car with 4stars in excellent condition. I dove Frome Pretoria to Germiston to view the car. I arrived a a sales counter with a large amount op sales people standing around it. I had my phone open on the advert that I showed a person I thought was a sales person. Now he said come with me and we walked and we walked up and down trying to locate the car. Please not I am a retired 70 year old man trying to keep up walking behind this man that still not identified himself. I had to say to him as he was 10 steps ahead of me please not to talk with his back to me while we walking. He then stopped and asked a few other staff if they knew were it could be located. He was then directed to the mezzanine floor and off we went once again. Needles to say it was also not on the mezzanine floor. Then he opted his laptop and started searching on that.still he was not sure if the car was there or not. So off we go down the stairs and to the cabin that holds all the keys. So there he found the keys and someone else to confirm were the car actually was parked. We arrive at the car ,he unlocks it starts the engin and of he goes to talk to someone else. I was surprised to se a sun roof on the car which was not mentioned in the advert. I also noticed that the black vendor on the bonnet and the windshield was missing as well as the front mudguard was loose. When I inquired would these things be fixed if I bought the car. No he says it is as is. I then complained and said that this was not visible on the advert. He the ask to read the advert and said if these damages are not mentioned he will ask the manager. But says he firstly get the credit sorted out then he will ask the manager and led me to some other counter were I was suppose to meet a Capitec staff. He the excused himself to get another car out the way and left me standing there. Obviously there was no Capitec person in waiting and why on earth would I apply for a loan to buy car car that has parts missing only then later told that they could not get it fixed. At this point I was fed up and starting to leave the store. At the exit this no name man appeared and said bye bye.i said to him that I think he is the poorest sales person I have ever met and I want to see a manager. He then quickly palmed me off to a young man who stuck out his hand and greeted me and gave me his name. I asked him what the name of the sales person was and told his name was Craig. The young gentleman disappeared and a miss Zaaiman I believe the team leader came to assist me. So off we go to her office and she tries to look up this car and it's defects. She then finds a similar looking car and says all she has see on the computer is that is has an oil leak and two bad tires. She then promised to deal with Craig and I left. What pathetic service. Their national add talks about how clean there cars are. Miss Zaaiman also confirmed that all the cars have sticker and only the ones with gold stickers were in perfect condition. It certainly did not mention sticker preference on their advert either. I fortunately will never buy a car from We buy Cars ever and what you read on Hello Peter is exactly the truth and hundreds of customers will not lie
I am in the unfortunate position to own a Jet master gas braai. I live in Pretoria. All the rock in the fire tray has disintegrated after replacing it 4 years ago getting the replacement rock from Builders warehouse. It is a fact that after time the rock turns onto powder and disintegrates. I have traveled to all the retailers in Pretoria to replace the rock. All the stores have the same answers. "we have not seen a rep in years and when we order it it does not arrive. Today I called Jet master directly and was referred to a store Calmino Living in Pretoria who are agent I was told who stock the replacements items. May I say again I was not surprised when told sorry we don't have stock and I should rather order it from Jet master directly out of Johannesburg. So I call them back and was confronted with a receptionist that just cold not understand my frustration when I was told just delivery cost would be R450. 00 excluding vat and the cost of the goods. She actually told me to shut up. I then asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to a Mr. Reinhard. He told me that the big retail stores threw Jetmaster out of their stores and that orders for replacing the rock is exceptionally minimal. What a joke Well what can I say. I am retired from retail stores 37 years now. At one stage of my career I was a buyer for a known retail store. I have no difficulty now understanding why Jet master is not represented in the large known retail stores. If I was a buyer at a retailer store and experienced such pathetic service and arrogance, I cetainly whould not have listed Jetmaster products. I'm actually surprised that they are still in business. I would have thought that replacement vulcanic rock should be available at all times from accredited retailers in all major cities. It is important for customers to note that no ordinary rock can be used other than the vulcanic rock that was designed for use by this manufacturer. It is actually dangerous to use other rock which can explode and cause serious injuries. I will there also write to the ombutsman regarding this problem. Hennie Luies

I found this company on Google who states they do not charge call out fees. When I call I was also not told to first get an onsite quote. They arrived and within minutes explained that the ceiling light fitting was old and that the one wire was lose. It took 10 min to attach the wire. No quote given. I then with the two electricians realised that the wall light switch was also old and faulty. Again the electrician went to his car to get a wall switch without telling met the price All of the above took 25 minutes I assumed after years of using electricians they charge between R450 and R 500 per hour for labour. I then had 3 additional light switches in my bedroom that were faulty. I had bought these light switches at Builders warehouse for R49.00 a piece. I asked them while they were here to replace the 3 switches again not getting quoted. From the time they had arrived to getting the invoice of R2450. 00 One Hour had passed. The invoice breakdown as follows. Re attaching the wire on ceiling light 20 min R1200. 00 wall light Switch R650. 00 (Builders Warehouse price R 49.00 Replacing 3 wall light switches labour only 15 min. Total invoice R2450. 00 Most electricians charge per hour. This total job should have not been more than R1200. 00 I then consulted hello Peter and found enough proof that I was being ripped off. Be aware to get a quote before you give the go ahead.
