******* Alert. UNIVERSAL WINDOW TINTING
Hello public. "******* ALERT" "UNIVERSAL WINDOW TINTING" I would like to warn you about this company. A while back I contacted "Universal Window Tinting" to give me a quote to tint some windows in my house. Adam was prompt to arrive and quoted. It was during December "Over 2 years ago) and he indicated that I needed to make a deposit of 50% and it had to be an immediate payment deposit. I duly did a deposit but forgot to make it an immediate payment. I immediately called them. (Dawn and Adam) and told them of my blunder but would pay the balance and make it an immediately payment. I paid the 50% balance within an hour. Thus Universal Window Tinting was paid in full for the job. An amount of R R5200.00 paid in full and upfront. Theses guys were a no show. Never heard from them again. I called their offices and spoke to Adam who promised to come and complete the work. This never happened. A few weeks later I called and spoke to Dawn who told me that Adam (her husband) was in the process of losing his eyesight and asked me to please be understanding and patient. I am not an unreasonable or heartless person, so I agreed. Weeks went by with no word from Dawn or Adam. I called to follow up and spoke to Dawn who acted totally dumb saying this is not how they operate and doesn't know what happened as she can't find any documentation but would follow up on this and get back to me. I never heard another word from Dawn. I tried following up with Dawn again and she has blocked me. This woman and her husband are ****mers and ******. There were other bad reviews on Hellopeter about exactly the same thing where they ****med people out of their money, but somehow these reviews have been removed. I had also done a review months ago and this review was also removed. Dawn, you a *****. You have had more than enough time and opportunity to fix this up and you have opted to block me and ignore me. I am going to put this review on every social media platform that I can think of. Useless app.
The most frustrating and dumbest app ever. Doesn't allow you to log in with the correct credentials and doesn't allow you to find/ recover the username (even though I have the correct details) or recover passwords. All the app does is bounce you arrond in circles to recover the user name and password.Very frustrating app. When you get into the app you can immediately see it's a D grade quality enrty level cheap app. Their app is ****.

*********, dishonourable business conduct and service. STAY AWAY
All I can say is that this is a DOUBLE *** company who is ********* and dishonourable. I bought a Probe battery for my home backup generator and within it's warranty period the battery failed and would not charge. I took the battery to their offices and had to "keep it" for testing. I followed up and was told that there was no sticker on the batter which was an oversight on their part as all batteries have a sticker on it. I was informed that because of this that they couldn't honour the warranty even though it was an oversight on their part. ***. Why didn't one of their highly trained staff inform me this when I booked the batterey in? Why waste my time by having me drive 2x trips to their offices to collect a battery that they knew from the beginning would not be covered. 2x trips to their offices for nothing other than wasting my time. On booking the battery in, I dealt with a friendly lady who mention to me that the sticker was missing and the battery was covered under the warranty and she would sort it out and make a plan. Only to follow up and be told that the battery was not covered. Very confusing since it was their fault / oversight. The best part is when I go collect the battery, it now has a sticker on it indicating that the battery is actually older and out of warranty. THIS IS CALLED BLATANT AND ********* BUSINESS CONDUCT. I am in the motor industry and daily I tell people NOT to go near to a probe battery. Stay with the ethical and honest big guys who don't need to lie to stay in business. Rather stay with Willard or any proper brand name product. Forget about Probe Batteries. THEY USELESS and a bunch of ****s who wont think twice to rip you off. SHAME ON YOU PROBE BATTERIES. Universal Window Tinting. Bunch of ******
Universal window tinting. BAD BAD BAD. ROTTEN BUNCH OF *******. Do not use this company. Dawn. Chief ***** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY. Do yourself a favour and read the reviews. I had very bad service and shocking experience with this useless company and useless Dawn. 21 December 2022 they quoted me R5200 to do some tinting at my house and said they would do the job before the end of the year. I was asked to make an immediate payment deposit of R3120.00. I did the deposit the follow morning without making an immediate payment. I immediate called Dawn and told her that I had done the deposit but unfortunately didn't make it an immediate payment so it would take a few days to reflect in her account. I told Dawn that I would pay the balance in full and would do an immediate payment which I did. So this means that Universal Window Tinting was now paid in full. Dawn was full of promises that the job would get the following week as her staff needed the extra overtime money and would be working the following week. Long story short. I have heard every excuse from her: She acted stupid and dumb when I called her following up about the work which I had paid for in full and wasn't done. She initially had NO clue of the job. Then said her husband Adam was ill and about to lose his eyesight and she was so overwhelmed with what was going on with their family crisis and would get back to me. This never happened. I NEVER heard from Dawn. I was vey patient for Dawn to call me which never happened. I again called Dawn and she said that it's not like her or her company to do anything like this and she couldn't understand how this matter slipped her by. She again promised to follow up and look into the matter and get back to me. This never happened. I have contacted her numerous times following up with her. I explained that I had gotten a proper honourable company to do my window tinting and I wanted my R5200.00 back. She said she would attend to it and reimburse me. To date, I am waiting for my money. Dawn no longer answers my calls or replies to any of my messages. It looks like I have also been blocked. Dawn you an absolute ***** and you will get your day. You keep using Adam as an excuse and you not a person of your word. Dawn please believe me that I will get my money's worth from you some way or another. Your quote number is 509 / 2022 I am not the first person you have **********. You should be ashamed of your poor, dishonourable and ********* business practices. You will get your day. Do not use this company. You will be sorry.
Been with this insurance company for years. Need to submit a claim which I have done via the app. Sent off many messages via the app for someone to call me and days later still waiting. I would seriously consider other insurance companies before signing up with Outsurance. Unfortunately Outsurance is only their for their own good and not in the interest of their customers. SHAME ON YOU OUTSURANCE Very poor service.
