21 years ago I purchased a Defy hob with undercounter oven and extractor fan. Until today I have not repaired or replaced a single unit or item. Its still as good as 21 years ago. Thank you Defy for producing top notch quality appliances.
Submitting my claim was less than 10 mints on the app. Just a few quick pictures of the windscreen. Within 5 minutes of submitting my claim the repairer called to confirm receipt and a date of when repairs will he done. This was simple and efficient. No call centre's no firms no fuss. Thank you

At the end of April 2021, I had my clutch & pressure replaced at R7 799.95 at Car service City Ormonde... ridiculous I know, but I Had no option at the time. Nonetheless it was done as I needed my vehicle repaired. On the day I collected it, the manager Tazz, advised me the handle to the driver door is broken and that's how is was found when the vehicle was towed in . I know for sure this was not the case at all, the car was in perfect condition when it left my home with the tow truck. On me driving the car home after the clutch & pressure was repaired , there was a squeaking noise, which I reported to them immediately. Tazz then informed me to bring the vehicle back, he assured me it was test driven after repairs. I took it back, it drove it with the mechanic in the passenger seat. so he could hear for himself. Q20 was applied, as per the mechanic, should solve the noise. For a few days it sounded good. On the same day , Tazz requested the panel beater next door see to my handle issue... what a disaster, quick fix solution with a piece of wire on the inside panel, is what they call repairs. This panel beater assured me the handle is fixed and should give any issues. Well!!, It not working still. I have to unlock from the driver side, and my car enter from the passenger door. I complained again on 18/05 of both the gearbox noise and handle, and await a solution. The manager Tazz, is arrogant & had no sense of customer ethic. He has dominated manner of speaking down on clients and has no mannerism or courtesy. I will NEVER EVER in my life EVER use them again.
In October 2020, I entered a competition with the Print Crate, whereby I was notified as the winner. An email to sent tome requesting my preferred artwork onto the Gazebo and other items inclusive of the prize. the artwork was approved by me. I regularly followed up on the delivery,, which was confirmed to be before the 18/12/2020. We are now in April 2021 and no further communication was received from this company. I feel cheated in that it was a cheap marketing strategy for them to gain exposure. If this is what they do, I wouldn't recommend any one to use them

In March 2020, I received the worst service ever from Coatings & Maintenance AKA S A Floors.This product - Epoxy , applied to existing floors, is to give an enhanced and renewed look to existing floors. To my detriment, I uterlised the service of the above-mentioned company to use their product on my porcelain tiles. I was promised the best quality and a 5yr guarantee, bearing in mind no written guarantee was received by me. 2 days after the application of Epoxy was applied I contacted Jaco (supposedly co-owner), of the inferior quality of the application.The end result, which looks likes bubbles, like when nail polish has not dried completely and clear nail polish applied... that what it looks like. In the past weeks, notice peeling of the Resin has now appeared. Bearing in mind, this was not to happen, as the Resin is a protective layer of transparent over coating Numerous messages were sent to the owner Jacque & Jaco, of which many promises were made to come to my residence for inspection and promises by Jacque were made to rectify the issue This application of their inferior product & workmanship, has cost me over R 6000.00 of 50sqm of floor. Since has been on-going since 9 March 2020. to date 24 April neither of the mentioned persons have bothered to call or try to resolve the issue. I would never refer / advise anyone to use this company any their product.
On 25/10/19, I logged a query for a refund of R16 220.00. 30/10/2019, Am automated e-mail was sent to me acknowledging receipt of my proof of payment. I make daily follows, on when my refund will be paid. 06/11/2019, Rolivuwa confirmed by refund will be paid on even date, and a telephone call thereafter to confirm payment has been made. Sadly, no funds have been received as at today. 07/11 -Call centre superviso Koketso, informs that the refund query was only logged 06/11 , and she will escalate with no turn-around time. This type of non customer service is pathetic. This is the reason why I closed my accounts with African Bank. They have no sense of urgency and customer satisfaction So to anyone who is thinking of taking up any of their products, think twice. I regret ever doing business with such an incompetent bank.
