Perfumes smell great, most last 6+ hours and they add free samples to each order. Effective communication from the team as well.
I went to Kreme beauty salon at The Sanctuary on 22 December, I had polygel and tips done on my hands and gel on my feet. I had never had polygel or acrylics before, and was doing gel also for the first time in almost 3 years so my nails were natural. I was quite happy with my nails (except for a few minor things but nothing I’d complain about). I went back to Kreme at The Sanctuary on 8 Jan to have the polygel on my hands removed. A different nail tech helped me, and she filed the polygel down and also used a gel remover agent to soften it before s****ing it off. However, she filed my natural nails down so much that they are now paper thin and bend and break easily, my nail beds are red/pinkish in certain spots (that’s how thinly my nails were filed) and now my nails have actually started to separate from the nail bed due to how thin they are. My nails were also very sore for a few days after the removal. I sent Kreme (the main Instagram page) a message on 12 Jan with my complaint, and when they didn’t respond I sent another message on 19 Jan. The next day I called their Sanctuary branch directly and the lady who answered asked that I send them a message on WhatsApp along with photos which she sent on to her manager, and also said that their social media team was busy so didn’t respond yet. She then came back to me apologizing and said that I can come in for a manicure and some of their own oils to use on my nails. I thanked her for getting back to me and for her swift response, but told her that I will not be returning to their salon. I’m very disappointed with the state of my nails, I went in with very healthy, natural nails and came back with brittle nails that I have to be so careful with, any small knock and my nails break or lift further from the nail bed. My nails are going to take months to grow out and become healthy again.
As a first time home buyer my husband and I were basically clueless regarding which procedures to follow to make sure we get our dream home. We were referred to Hendrika King from Ooba and she contacted us the same day to get things rolling. She assisted us right through lock down and didn't give up even when a few obstacles came our way. Great service, would definitely recommend!
I'm not one to post negative reviews but this market was shocking to say the least. Super long queues to get in as there is only one entrance (which is also the exit btw). The "market" itself was utterly underwhelming. A few stalls selling clothes and toys etc with minimal food stalls ****erally only chips, burgers and pizza) and ONE separate stall selling drinks? 90% of your time here will be spent in a queue to get in and get food and then you'll spend the other 10% waiting in a queue to see 5 lights that look nothing like the pictures. No directional signs. No adult entertainment. No visible event manager to assist with queries. To top it all, after a while they let people in without checking their tickets. What was the point then? It's also super dark inside. You could easily be pickpocketed or have your child stolen. Shocking guys. Don't get scammed by the false advertising.
