I just need to know. My late wife bord a care in 2019. Now I found out there was no credit life insurance or any insurance on the car besides comprehensive insurance. Can a bank sell a car worth that amount without any assurance. What if the car was a total loss. And further more when investigating these things I found that paperwork was filled in and we were not married in community of property. When the car was purchased I was present and my late wife definitely did not state that we we out of community of property. Is there anything I can do?
Good morning My wife has a telkom contract with Telkom since Jan 2020. She been on lock down since March and being on lock down there was no income. She has been paying the account but unfortunate there was no money in her back account. She called Telkom and made arrangement to pay directly into there bank account. This was done for about 3 months. This month her account is higher. She then called Telkom. The call center agent "Tshepele" advised her that it is rejection fees that was added. My wife then explained to her that she did make an arrangement and everything was fine for 2 months but this month has added amounts. She then give a bull reason and then my wife asked her if there is anyone else she can complain to to sort this out, Her words. "We don't give out these numbers". Then she advised my wife that the account must be paid 10 days before debit order come off. This was never said to her and we have been paying into account on the same time each month. She also said that there is no way to change what is happening with regards to deducting payment from my wife's account. Now I want to know how do you deduct money from a closed account because she had to close the account because of people like you Telkom. For me this is very unprofessional. Telkom ,what about your customers. We are suffering because of lock down and You trying to rip people off. I am really disgusted because of your "customer care agent" you Telkom don't have a customer complain line or email. Then why do people make arrangements and this still happen. My wife is really disgusted with your customer relations. We had problems in the beginning of lock down and now again. When is all this going to stop.Our accounts is already stretched to the limit now you Telkom still want to thief us out of our last money. My big problem is still Vodacom Couple of months ago a had a review on this platform regarding Vodacom and Lock down as I am still on lock down .Vodacom said one of there people will contact me but never did. I have a data contract with Vodacom. Unfortunately due to lock down I fell behind on payments but still tried my best paying. Now I can't use the data as it off. My problem now is like i said , I am prepare to make arrangements regarding balance but i cant afford the contract and now my balance is way more and I get calls up to 3 times a day telling me to pay and no way of sorting it out. When i ask them they just say i need to pay. Still sad for a customer as it looks like i am not working at the place I worked as it is entertainment
Good day my big problem is with Vodacom. I took out a data contract with them. I don't have any problems up untill covid started. After lockdown started I went to vodacom to say that I am on lock down and I am employed in the entertainment industry. I also told them that I know I won't be working soon as per social distancing. My thing is I wanted to cancel the contract because I know that I will fall behind on payments as I had no salary or help. Now my account is in areas and they still don't want to cancel. I know it's a contract and I am bount to it but does this also apply in this time of lockdown. I know allot of people are struggling. I am willing to pay the arrears but what about the way forward. This is very sad to thing that the big companies do not care about there customers. Only there to make money I would love to know what the law say about something like this when we are in lockdown and even if there is no lockdown there will be social distancing. Would Vodocom even try and help a customer like me. Thank you
Hi my complain is still with Capitec My wife have a loan by them. And she only had 2 months to pay when covid hit and everyone had stay home. My problem now is that we found out that she have been paying a credit life insurance from the day she took the loan with them. Now in all this time no one even told us that there is insurance on the loan. Further more we went to Capitec branch and they confirmed. My question is why don't they tell there customers about it. We are all struggling and both me and wife is still under lockdown and are still not working. We were told to send documents of work saying she is still not getting payed by the company. We send all the documents to them. Yet for a 6 weeks no one has been in contact to the progress of the claim. We also had gotten many calls to pay and still we explained that we are still under lockdown. What I see is that Capitec is waiting for everyone to go to level 1 so that they don't have to pay out that claim. It's so sad that companies will go to these length to rob people in a time like this. What I can olso say is that normally this is a third party insurance. If it is why does Capitec prevent customers from getting what they pay for. If it is there own insurance then I do think they need to be exposed I know that we ain't the only ones this is happening to but it is sad when it really hits at your home
I think there customer service is pathetic especially in the mids of the pandemic. They are not helping there customers or try to understand that whole world is going through this. There consultants treat you as if you don't want to pay them when still allot of people are under lock down.Then they put you on the phone with there other consultants cause they don't know what to tell you. All they say is that is the way it is and they cant help. They don't even have a toll free number . You call and your airtime run up. Yes as a customer you want to sort out and need help with your account but what you get is ignorant service and at the end they want you to make debt on top of the dept you have. Just an example. My wife and I made a loan at Capitec and before lock down we had one last payment. we where on the phone for days. firstly we needed to change my wife's pay date as her company changed it to month end. For 2 months debits went off on 25. Thus putting extra charges on the debit account. And been calling every day almost to change. Then debits went of on days earlier then 25 and we had to pay that. And that was without having a paycheck or any income. Now they this month money went off our house rent account that did not have debits on and is only a savings account for rent. And this is 2 different banks. I really doubt that this is legal as there was no permission granted for this.
