Called the call centre on this number this morning 0860 200 911, was being "assisted" by a lady named Celeste. I was so polite and understanding to her, she literally just ignored me cause I could hear her colleagues talking in the background. I hate call centres because of people like her. Virgin Active made a whole mess up on my account and I'm not liable for it. They literally finessed me and my wife to reactivate out accounts with 50% off for the next four months. Everything was done over the phone.
Thank God, I'm finally leaving UrbanX. It's been hell for months.what kept me was the Clawback but I've had enough to the point I've decided to pay the Clawback. December 4 2025 will be a special day to me. I've upgraded to 400Mbps/400Mbps and in actuality I'm only getting about 320Mbps/150Mbps.
This has to be the worst provider out there. I'm going to cancel the service today and won't be paying them another regardless of their 30 days notice. I'm have the worst gaming experience now, not in 30 days but now. I have been complaining about the same issues for once but never got fixed. Another dime from me? Not a damn.
Today I was assisted by Khanya Njalo. The experience was quite peaceful and no hassles. Was very patient with me and explained everything clearly.
So recently I switched from Cool Ideas to UrbanX think I'll get a better gaming experience. I was wrong, do not try to fix what's not broken. A month before I cancelled my line with Cool Ideas I was having the best experience playing EA FC 25, because somehow they got rid of the latency after I complained about it. They always tried to assist, I had a technician who kept on asking for updates regarding my EA FC 25, I think it was Dave or David. Nonetheless, I regret switching from Cool Ideas, I think I'll be switching back in less than a month
So I decided to change my Cool Ideas ISP to UrbanX with the assumption that I'll get better/less latency when playing EA FC 25. I mean they say the they are for gamers, boy have I made a mistake. Since they activated my UrbanX line, I've have the worst experience on EA FC 25, to make it worse, the technicians can't help me with anything. With Cool Ideas I was having a better experience with latency lately, they actually fixed my latency issue but I thought UrbanX could do better. I don't want to talk about their telephone line... It's the worst, I can't hear Jack everytime I call them.
At this point I have to change my ISP next month. The latency is bad when gaming. Getting packet like no one's business. I'm disappointed and unsatisfied with connection. Should've stuck with Vox. They can't even help with forwarding.
Man, I was with Air Broadband before cool ideas. Air Broadband was a bit pricey compared to Cool Ideas but their customer service care never disappointed. Always respond almost immediately regardless of the in the week including Sunday. Cool Ideas they expect their money for the package you chose, they give you 88Mbps instead of 240Mbps then are close by 3pm on a Sunday so you can't get assistance immediately. I might have to switch and cancel this thing one month in. They can't port forward either. It's just a mess at Cool Ideas.
****mers. I blame JDG for doing business with them. Bought items, they never got delivered, rightfully so I requested for a refund. Till this day, nothing. This matter might end up in court and also add the distress they've caused me to the case.
The worst I've come across. I've been paying my account more than once per month. When I check my credit record and TransUnion, it states it was last updated the 13th of April 2022. It has no help towards my credit score. I've been making requests for months for them to update my payment behaviour on TransUnion and Experian. They're pretty much lazy
