Fast, friendly service and excellent prices. All arrived in a very neatly packed package which was dispatched the same day.
Bought solar panels - AC Direct had excellent prices, they delivered as promised on their website and their service was friendly. Will certainly buy from them again!
Rush quoted the best price I could find online. The package was collected next day as requested (by "The Courier Guy") and delivered within the promised timeframe. Excellent service!
I requested OpenServe fibre installation via Telkom's website. Was contacted within a week and an appointment made. This was not held, but the technician came the next day and did the installation without any problems. Although the line worked, he mentioned that due to a problem with the infrastructure, the connection could be unreliable. This was fixed by another technician two days later. Working well now. In summary, had fibre working two weeks after the order with all issues sorted out easily.

My mother was sold an unsolicited, misrepresented, unwanted contract by Mondo (phoned from 0318307500). Mondo had all her details (including phone number, contract expiry date, age and delivery address). Obviously this information was supplied by Vodacom. She was under the impression that she was phoned by Vodacom.

I have now been struggling for 5 hours to contact Vodacom to cancel this contract. I have been referred back and forth between three different departments, each time holding the line for a considerable time. When I finally get to somebody that seems as though they can help, I am told that the system is off line. A number of times somebody answered, but then the line was dropped. Interestingly, the rating system at the end of the calls also did not work.

Why is there not an e-mail address to which these requests can be sent with Vodacom following up?

I object to Vodacom making customer information available to third parties who use high pressure sales techniques and misrepresentation to fool a technically naive customer into signing up for unwanted contracts. The least Vodacom can do is make it easy to cancel these unwanted contracts!
My mother, who hardly uses data and mostly phones, received an unsolicited call from 0318307500 on 21 December 2015. She was told that her contract with Vodacom (uChoose Flexi 150) would expire in March and offered an upgrade which included 2 GB of data which would cost less (R109 instead of R138). She was also told that it was a once of offer, and it could not be repeated closer to the date of expiry of the first contract, and she understood that she would still have the free minutes available on her phone. Sadly, she was bamboozled into accepting.

After some enquiries, it seems that instead of an upgrade, they sold her an ADDITONAL 2GB DATA CONTRACT (mostly useless to her), WITHOUT free minutes (which she does use).

The package was delivered on 24 December. Mondo is now closed for the festive season, so no way to contact them for details or to cancel.

It has up to now cost me four hours of phone calls to Vodacom to try and cancel the contract.

I have the impression that this company is preying on non-technically minded users, selling them misrepresented, unwanted contracts. I do not know why Vodacom associates itself with this company.
