Installed zapper so I could easily pay contributions at my church on a sunday. The card i used i don't really use for anything else. 2 weeks later and my card info has been cloned and used for a 31k transaction abroad. Coincidence, I think not. I have since Uninstalled the app and will not be using it again. It's just not worth the risk.
Went to celebrate my 44th birthday with friends at Bryanston nicolway centre turn and tender. It was a bad idea clearly, the staff were extremely noisy and nobody greetexbus at the door, we had made a reservation so managed to find " our table " we were finally attended too, after I flagged down a waiter. He took our order, we then had to re-place the order when our actual waiter decided to rock up. The floor was rather dirty and the table sticky. This is not what I expected from this establishment having eaten there several times before. We then ordered our food, the food was delivered and it was not correct, my extra portion of veg that I orderd was bundled on to the same plate as the mash and clearly undersized steak I orderd, I asked for medium rare and was very specific when placing the order that my steak was not to be overcooked. My clearly not 500g piece of meat was srv3d medium to well. I questioned the veggies which should have been served separately as that is what I would be charged for. They had literally given me quarter size portions of veg and mash just to fit it on the same plate. Where are the standards? My food was sent back, the correct portion of veg and mash was re-served with another undersized steak. At just under R300.00 for what is supposed to be a quality cut of meat and the correct advertised size I was extremely disappointed. Then low and behold, I found a piece of packaging plastic in my spinach, I could have choked on that and from a hygiene perspective this is absolutely disgusting. The manager on duty apologized while not trying very hard to hide a pretty big smirk on his face. I was absolutely disgusted by this. My girlfriend orderd the chicken schnitzel and it clearly said on the menu, provided with a choice of sauce, mushrooms. Or cheese being the options, we were charged for the sauce as if it was an additional extra. My veggies were removed from the bill but at this point it made absolutely no difference. Our waiter was terrible to say the least and management clearly didn't have a grip on the goings on in the store. We paid our bill amd left. I don't know what else to say except we will never visit that branch ever again. Neither will my friends that accomponied me and I will be sure to.recount this terrible experience to whomever asks me what is a good steak house to go too. This is not how your treat customers. This is how yoh alienate customers and ruin what used to be a good reputable business. I would avoid eating here at all costs.
Best service I have ever received. I am really impressed with their branch. Waynand and Quentin, you okes are legends. You got me back to Durban safely and my focus ST is driving better than ever. I wish I knew everyone's name to Thank them all. I Stay in Durban and will drive up to jhb just so I can get my car serviced here.
I am waiting for a payout of monies owed to me by cell c for overcharging me for my contract. They are refusing to pay me. I have just emailed their customer care department to inform them that I will be taking them to the small claims court in 14 days as is law if they do not pay me what is owed.
I was quoted in writing, a deal on an upgrade from cell c. They are now refusing to honour their written quote to me.
This is the third time I have ordered from takealot and the third time I have been messed around. Ordered and payed for goods on the 29th of november and I am still waiting for my goods. Was told they would arrive yesterday and guess what, still nothing, woke up to a message telling me delivery has been delayed, again, no reason and no apology, no return phone call from the consultant I did manage to speak to yesterday, who said she would call me back and never did. Last time I ever buy anything from this unethical, dishonest and terribly run organization. They have lost me as a customer for good this time.
