I bought a 0.75kw Jojo pump from Builders warehouse on 24 March 2023. It is advertised to be able to run 3 showers / taps. After installation, this proved not to be true. (My old 0.375kw pump can handle this well.) I tried to return the product because of poor performance today, 27 March 2023. I was flatly refused by Builders Warehouse Mokopane after their manager phoned the Jojo sales rep. Customers beware - the Jojo pumps deliver poor, underrated performance at a high price. Rather spend your money on first rate equipment when looking for a pump.
I had an appointment for 10 am and was told to be there at 9:45. I was exactly on time. (After driving a 100km to get there.) After filling out a multitude of repetitive forms (all of them geared towards making sure they receive payment and very little else) I was told to wait. There were no other patients in evidence, but quite a few staff members were drifting around and chatting. I could hear ladies in the next room discussing me as well, and complaining that I dare need tooth cleaning as well as a crown at this time of the year. Apparently it was also a problem that I recently moved to Mokopane from Pretoria... After an hour of this, I got up to leave. In response, the receptionist only said 'bye.' This is the most unprofessional and rude medical practice I have ever had the sad misfortune of encountering. Their rudeness and total disregard for patients borders on the criminal. I only give the 1 star rating as a -10 rating is not available. They are to be avoided at all costs.
Agents form this company has been phoning me, and when I ask who they are, and why they are phoning me, they just hang up. I have never signed any marketing consent to be contacted by them, neither do I have any pre-existing relationship with them. They are using methods that can only be described as pure spam - unsolicited marketing.
Builders Mokopane is the absolute worst of the worst! Today (again) I had to leave without being able to buy much needed building supplies. The trade desk is hardly ever manned, and when it is, there is no guarantee that the person(s) there will be interested to assist. Today the one person was actually leaving the person he was assisting (I was nr 2 in a growing queue) to stand and twiddle his thumbs a few time, while going for a stroll through the store on unspecified errands. When the person in front of me had enough of this, and left the store, the 'salesperson' immediately proceeded to assist somebody who came walking up and completely ignored me. When I asked if there was nobody else who could assist, a helper was called. The only help he offered me was to say he cannot assist me and I have to ask the original failure (that was still faffing around with no immediate purpose) behind the desk. After over 20 minutes of this, I went to the information counter and asked to see the manager. Who also failed to appear... The worst of all is that there were maybe 5 customers in the whole shop - it was as quiet as a grave yard. And this is similar to every experience I have had in this shop over the last 2 years. Enough is enough - I will never again support this farce and I advise serious buyers not to waste their time here. This shop is clearly not interested in doing business.
I bought an expensive shower mixer and was assured that there was a guarantee, for this 'premium' product. Just over a year later, the mixer broke. CTM Mokopane refuses to honour their guarantee. So, in short - they sell overpriced low quality products and refuse to honour their guarantees. I will never go back.

I went to see these people to arrange a Tlb 2 weeks ago for today. Before the weekend I confirmed, with WB. Yesterday I confirmed again. Today - NO SHOW! No response! When I enquired, I was told that nothing will be done. I then complained and was told that I am too sensitive. This company has no use for, or need of, paying customers. I will oblige... My project has grinded to a halt, because these people do not even have the decency to inform anybody that they will be a no show. Damages are for the neglected client's account.
Mokopane branch. They promise the sun and the moon until one has paid. Then, nothing. No calls, updates or spectacles are in evidence. They promised 2 weeks for delivery, it is now 3 weeks and not a peep from them. When I phone I am told: 'Sir, you need to wait for the sms. There is nothing we can do. Goodbye.' Pathetic, I will NOT be back, ever.
On TWO occasions during November 2019, we were kept waiting longer than 30 minutes, despite making appointments. Once was during an emergency where we had phoned ahead to make arrangements for our dog. During the emergency, there was NOBODY in attendance - I had to run around and search for somebody to help. The following day, we had an appointment with a professor there, and AGAIN had to wait 30min+ I complained about this bad service (remember, we have to pay BEFORE treatment) only to be told by Professor V Dam that they refuse to treat our very sick dog any further. They deliver PATHETIC service at high rates - dare to complain? They refuse to treat your sick animal. This is clearly a case of a HIGH and MIGHTY professor that demands to be treated like royalty, and to get paid for it at the same time. Wake up! If you charge a fee, you need to deliver a service as well! You are not paid to be important, see?
