Bought creed aventus, a mens fragrance. I knew it was cheaper but thought that a company affiliated to a listed business would not sell fake products. I was so wrong. It not just a fake product, it’s clearly a bad fake product. Now, they would want u to go thru the difficult task of returning it where takealot needs to approve the return. So, they need to approve the return of a fake product which they sell. I shall be staying away from takealot all together. Very disappointed.
Just got back from dischem in victory park, Randburg. Waited more than 20min to collect on a script for my baby daughter. The store manager offered absolutely no assistance stating that waiting is normal. Lots of excuses which made very little sense. But then I got to speak to the dispensary manager. He was even better. Firstly he stated that I had not been waiting more than 20min ie. I had told a lie. Then he blamed COVID for all the delays and his staff shortages etc. really !!! Then he told me I should rather go to another chemist if I was not willing to wait. Absolutely superb service once again from a branch which clearly pays no attention to customer service. We wait patiently like fools in order to pay dischem our hard earned money ??? I shall follow his advise and never return.
Took my lab to Greenside Animal Hospital on Thursday 9th Jan 2020. He needed a vaccination and had done some serious damage to his ear which needed seeing to. Got there around 12.30pm and was told that there was an extra surcharge for coming in during a busy time. Strange that the vet was available to see my dog but would charge extra due to time of day. We arranged to come back at 3.30pm. When I got back the vet had a good look and said she needed to sedate him to get the treatment on the ear done. We should therefore come in later to fetch him. Before giving the go ahead I specifically asked what it would cost. I was told by the vet that it be around R2000 including the vaccination. I told her to go ahead. We then got to the hospital around 6.45pm to pick up max my dog. I was told that it was very busy and that treatment would only start then. He would be kept overnight and that there would be no extra charge. So, we then get to the hospital at 8.40am on Friday 10th Jan 2020. Max is fine but the bill is R2300 without the vaccination which costs around R750. I asked why and was given all sorts of strange excuses by the very polite receptionist and other vet. I was told that extra work had to be done. I was told that the final bill was given my the owner and that other quotes don’t matter. They even looked thru the bill and tried finding extra charges. I paid and left. I will certainly not be going back. Further I shall be making sure that this polite extra charging is known to many.
