These ******* started debiting my account over a year ago for a comprehensive car cover that I never agreed to. Hidden in my vehicle installment. Their excuse was that my car was not insured. Which it was through Santam the entire time. They took it apon themselves to detract over R12 000 from my bank account without my knowledge or ant signature or verbal agreement from me Now despite evidence that the has been covered the entire time by Santam. They only want to return 2 months premiums. Absolute theft and a sickeningly bad customer service team. Never choose these *****s.
This construction company is either ********* or ***********. Terrible communication. They have not only provided information that they subsequently backtracked on and denied (accused us of lying about or misunderstanding when it was clear was their intentions were), but their delays, now extending to around 6 months from the original timelines communicates have cost me tens of thousands of Rands. We were told the day before the move that our property would not be ready and the foreman insinuated the fault was lack of communication on our side. They communicate any effort to actually meet obligations as "a gesture of goodwill". It's ludicrous. I would strongly advise people avoid purchasing any properties associated with this business.
Telkom has been an absolute nightmare for a number of reasons. 1 Changing the terms of my contract mid-term. I used to get a set amount of free Netflix streaming per month. This was the reason for me taking the contract yet this was revoked and only communicated via SMS. Yet they kept me tied to the deal. 2 When I managed to migrate to a new deal I was quoted one amount and charged another. Yet when I asked for the sales call to verify the amount invoiced I was told I needed a court interdict to get access to those voice recordings. 3 Through desperation I contacted their Sales Executive (Megan Nicholas) on LinkedIn who was willing to assist at first but since has only given me the cold shoulder. 4 When I tried to cancel my mobile contract I was told it couldn't be done over the phone and I'd have to email an address. This email didn't exist. I tried a portal where I could sign up to manage subscriptions yet even with my ID none of the subscriptions appeared. Telkom is a joke and a rip off. Definitely the worst carrier in the country. Please please please. Nobody use this company and you'll save yourself A LOT of stress and pathetic service and frustration.
