I got the mirror for the wrong year model. Returning it getting a refund was done quickly and in a friendly manner by the guys. I just wish that they had the 2016 version available :(
When our elderly microwave stopped making things hot a few years ago we approached ADM Appliances Repair and within a day the magnetron was replaced at a very affordable price. Three years down the road and lots of daily use, the microwave stopped making things hot. ADM was able to repair it by replacing the magnetron quickly again at a very affordable price. The service is amazing and the team there very friendly. Don't be put off by their operation from lockups behind a shopping centre. Appearances are deceptive; the service is great and repairs are effective.
I was battling to find stock of a multipack of cartridges for my printer (Maxify 4140). My usual source had no stock and their supplier failed to deliver to them. I had also tried T@ke@lot and ended up returning incorrectly provided cartridges for credit. I hadn't heard of FirstShop previously but I was almost out of ink in 2 of 4 cartridges so tried them. Best price, even when including delivery, and delivered to me in Cape Town within the estimated time from ordering. Easy to navigate their website and great communication throughout the process. Secure payment portal with several options. I'll be using them again
A friend brought his Slim Book X L1435 to me for assistance with an issue. As soon as I put it on my network Windows Update ran and thereafter there was no battery icon or sound device. Win update also updated the recovery partition. Drivers from the Connex website don't work as they refuse to load. Called Support after not getting a response to a ticket raised. Support confirmed that website files are corrupt. Only solution suggested was to return the device to them in Joburg to be reloaded with original Win version and tweak registry to stop updates :( They do have new chipset drivers but haven't put on the website and not sure when they might.
I filled in a query on their website and got a quick response next morning by email offering to come that day. I replied, asking for an approximate time so that i could plan my day......and nothing. I have tried calling the number on the email several times and it goes unanswered. Having seen the last two ratings where PC boards were taken from fridges and weeks later no progress, I do not feel inclined to pursue the possibility of having them repair my fridge any further.
