Had the worst experience opening up a credit card with them, Tried 3 times online and same day in the branch in Table bay mall. To this day I don’t have access to the credit facility but I am getting statements. There was no debit order mandate received so I don’t understand how they’d send me a statement for an inactive credit card Id like to close the credit card as i am not able to use it at all.
Got an upgrade for my contract in May as my contract ended. Told to be an amount of R249 and debited a different amount. Now tied down to a contract for a value I didn’t agree on. Called in to ask why the difference occurs only to find out the consultant signed me on using the exclusive VAT pricing to make it look like I’m saving. Can’t cancel because of cancellation fees. I can’t believe that such a big organisation will **** people like this!

I'd like to cancel my contract, I've been going back and forth with emails and phones calls regarding my upgrade. Never once received a proper resolution or response. Emails asking for my details and to then direct my query was received several times and having to repeat myself with the exact same information. After almost 15 emails being sent and still not on MTN consultant has assisted me fully! Do you guys prefer to just have a bad name? My contract expires in June this year and I will gladly make sure that I won't be paying any further until my contract is canceled. I pay for terrible service and badly trained staff! I've went to the extent of writing reviews, sending emails and still nothing has been noticed. I will be canceling my debit order as of June
Bought a car with them cash, paid a fee of approximately R1700 for putting the vehicle on my name. To my knowledge this is known as the vehicle registration, which means you register the vehicle on the new owners name and address. The current number plate was ND and I reside in Gauteng. First off I waited a month to get my natis documents after constantly calling, messaging my sales consultant who was of no help. After receiving my documents finding out its incorrect is extremely frustrating. The number remains ND nothing changed, I phoned the call center and according to reception what I paid for is the change of ownership which is also getting a new number plate. This is extremely frustrating to be constantly calling and forgotten about within seconds after making payment
Unable to upgrade contract due to being under debt review. I have upgraded my contract previously and we'll within my budget however I am now being declined because of my debt review. I have been with mtn from 2018 and paid my contracts on time without defaults. Please allow me to upgrade my contract.
This bank has been a problem from the start. Aftef sending me an sms saying my loan account has not been paid hich also states they will terminate my debt review process, they then send another sms a day later stating the original sms was an error. I then contacted my debt company only to find out capitec bank is in the wrong. My funds are being debited monthly via debt Busters. Why is my money not being allocated to my loan Capitec? I aim to change my bank due to the lack of professionalism from Capitec bank. I have been with this bank from 2017 and it's proven to be one of the worst.
Capitec, one of my debts sent me an sms today saying no payment was received for several months. Where is my money going if I get debited from debt Busters. Please explain. I've had so much trouble with debt Busters and they never seem to give me any answers. My account is debited each month on time and given to debt Busters, why are you guys not distributing my money. Capitec claims they will terminate my debt review process due to no payment for months
Account balance was increasing since June, never received a statement for the month of June and July statement balances have increased from the month of June. Not able to get into contact with anybody and the live chat is unhelpful. I have sent numerous emails and tried calling for hours and still not resolved.
Got declined for my upgrade because of my debt review. Stayed with vodacom for 2 years, never missed payment and still unable to upgrade my contract. I even picked a package to the same amount of my current one. This is ridiculous. They'd prefer you to cancel than keep their customer.
