My twin daughters was on a PMB for life saving medication for a very rare condition. The PMB expired in June 2024. At first, Discovery notified me that the PMB will be automatically renewed. This was not the case. I have been trying to renew it now since June 2024, and every time I submit new documentation, they ask for even more reports from the doctors. 4 Months is really not a good turn around time. This morning, after waiting another week, I enquired and again it is "In Review" and will have feedback in 4 days time. How, why . . . the medication is extremely important to my kids and potentially life saving but yet, they have all the time in world, we do not have that luxury.
Whished there was a ZERO star! Capfin is the worst when it comes to fulfilling what they promise! Stay away, as far as you can!
I cancelled 2 contracts almost 2 months ago, effective 6 June and the credit bureau's still shows the accounts as open. I also phoned and was promised that the accounts will be updated but it's not yet updated and shows an OPEN status. This has a negative effect on my credit score as it counts as an open accounts, and it is not. Please just update it, it's very simple.

I am so disappointed with the level of service from this Medical Aid. My daughter has a very rare condition, BRBNS, and need chronic medication to assist in her HB not dropping and avoiding blood transfusions. Resomed just turn around and says that BRNS (or Anemia) and her Rapamune is not on a list so they won't cover the medication. Don't you understand that her condition is life threatening? Immediately switching to discovery even if the specify a 1 year waiting. I've been trying to on the phone for couple of days, sent through all the required docs. Was promised you will give Feedback, and nothing. Not a word.

I seriously can't believe that companies like MFC would make use of these people! They have absolutely no idea as to what's happening in their own organisation. Or, the question is, are they legit?<br> <br> They keep harassing me with SMS's, phone calls, when asked for detailed statements they don't email it. They change bank account details, claiming they can't see my payments. Want me to email them proof of payments made!<br> <br> What a joke. Pathetic, beyond pathetic!
