We received an account, which we were not aware that we had to pay, as we were not aware of any contract, nor did we have any contract. We paid the amount in good faith, and stated that the contract was now cancelled (the lawyers doing the collection) now 15 months later we receive from another lawyer that we owe them R14181.30. FOR WHAT? We have never received a monthly invoice or statement, and as far as we are concerned we do not have a contract. I will be reporting them to the Consumer protection office if there is such a place.
I bought a Wave TV Box, from a Gino, who was selling them at the Italian Club in 2019. Had nothing but problems, I was promised an invoice by email, still waiting. My subscription expired last year, and unable to renew it. I have tried to no avail to contact Gino, he has changed numbers, and I get told theses stories how sorry they are, and they will sort it out...ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. Its a wonder that these kind of businesses stay in business. Tried calling both cell numbers n the website, straight to voice mail.
During the lock down we had a burglary at our factory. They stole our ****le, which operates our switchboard and internet. On the 4th May we ordered a new part, and we had to agree to sign a new 2 year contract, which we did. And now the 19th MAY we are still without the part. They acknowledged receipt of the order, and sent me sms's to inform me where the order is etc, and then it stopped. We have been back at work and been unable to work...Their service, or lack there of has been absolutely dismal. Big company with no consideration for smaller companies, that actually make Vodacom what they are.
Having sold my mothers home, we had to apply through the attorneys for the cancellation if the bond, and obtain originals of the title deeds of the property. We received an email from our attorney that we had to urgently sign a document because the bank had LOST the title deed. This was done on the same day, got my mother who is 82 and frail to sign and raced through to the attorney so as to make sure that no time was lost in the transfer of the property. Now two weeks later and the bank have still not submitted the Lost papers. This will now delay the transfer of the property by 1 and a half months at least. That's not the worst part, the retirement village that she is planning to buy into, will not let her move in until the unit is paid for in FULL. I am unable to speak to anyone at call centre of Nedbank as I am not the account holder.Yet if we owed them money for the insurance payments , they were happy to talk to me. Took my frail mother to Nedbank Tokai, so that we could speak to a call centre agent and that was also a waste of time. Why and how can the bank get away with this. WHAT will they do to help??? Nothing.
