My policy is with 1st for Women but I keep getting through to Auto & General. I lodged a claim about a month ago & was told that a certain person would keep in touch with me to keep me informed on the status of my claim. I never heard from him again!!!!! A few weeks later I called and spoke to some one else who came across as very helpful & assured me that my claim would be settled within a few working days. Its now almost a month & have heard NOTHING further - no refund, no call, e mail or message. I have just tried calling for the 3rd time in an effort to find out when I can expect the money due to me to be paid into my bank account and all I got is what I imagine to be a recorded message, or some kind of AI that kept asking me the same question over & over again, regardless of the fact that I had answered the same question more than once. I called back - same story. If I could give Auto and General NO stars that would be my preference - unfortunately we are not given that option. Guess who will be looking for a new insurance provider once this claim has been settled? I cannot comment on their service because it is non existent. My advice to anyone looking for insurance - avoid Auto & General/1st For Women at all costs.
We just returned from an AMAZING family holiday at Cannonier. The setting is stunning, as are the beaches & the sunsets. Having stayed at a few resorts in Mauritius over the years I can honestly say this one rates up there with the best of them. We, as a family were "blown away" by how friendly the staff was, how amazing the food was both at the buffet and at the Navigator. A special shout out to Osman & Angela at the buffet. The chefs, especially AJ are very accommodating, as are the the rest of the staff. At the Navigator Roshan & the musicians went out of their way to make my daughter's birthday extra special & last but not least Kim at Planteur looked after us so well as did all the staff we encountered, always friendly & ready to help - our rooms were well serviced & our bar re stocked daily. Would we go back again _ ABSOLUTELY ....... would we recommend Cannonier to others - ABSOLUTELY. Thank you to you all

I recently bought a pack of Organic Beef mince from Pick n Pay Long Beach Mall. I purchased it on Monday 5th September. The sell by use by date was the 7th of September. I kept it in the fridge & when I went to take it out and of the fridge on Tuesday to cook I could smell it as I opens the fridge door. I took it back to customer services @ Long Beach Pick n Pay on Wednesday morning. The lady I spoke to was very helpful but had to refer me to her manager MARSHAL as I did not have my till slip. Marshal could not have been more disinterested. He insisted that because I didn’t have my slip I had no recourse. They were able to pick up a he sale via my Smart Shopper Card - not good enough. Not interested!!!!! The fact that the mince that I had paid R131.55 for was ROTTEN didn’t count at all. No apology, no offer of replacement (not that I would have wanted it replaced). Totally disinterested in my problem. I ended up leaving the mince on the counter, walking away out of pocket by R131.55 and vowing that I wouldn’t be shopping at Pick n Pay again. There is a Checkers across the road & after being a loyal Pick n Pay customer for about 40 years I will now only be shopping at Checkers. Pick n Pay your customer service needs serious attention if my experience was anything to go by. Customers be warned keep EVERY SINGLE till slip. Very disappointed, disillusioned ex Pick n Pay customer!!
