Today I paid a visit to the Absa Branch at Sanridge Mall in Midrand. After watching the deterioration of services for the past year or so I was presently surprised at the service that I received from Peggy. She was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Well done Peggy. I am truly a happy customer.
On Saturday 2 February 2021 I placed an order with Ubereats as I have done a million times before. My payment method is an EFT. My account was debited 3 times for the same transaction. On Sunday I contacted Ubereats as I notied the error was not collected and were adivised as follow: "The charge on your account is an authorisation hold. An authorisation hold is a pending charge placed on your account while we confirm your payment method, but it never leaves your bank account. This hold usually releases within 3-5 business days but time frames may vary depending on your bank’s policy. If you need further information on this process, or if there is a delay in these funds being released, we would recommend reaching out to your bank directly." WHAT IS THAT. WHAT RIGHT DO THEY HAVE HOLDING MY MONEY
Buyers beware. On separate occasions a placed an order via the Uber Eats App to Burger King Westgate Mall. The first time my order was delivered in a thorn paper bag soaked with soda. Wonderful during these Covid Times. The second time, same App and same shop I was missing items. Contacting the branch was fruitless as the complaints were not addresses and the employees were combative.
Had the greatest spa experience at Woodlands this weekend. The facility is beautiful, well kept and best of all the staff is super friendly and well experienced.
I made the fatal mistake of buying products (CASH) from Homechoice on 1 September 2020. To date I have not had delivery. My calls to their call center is met with hostility and attitude from the agents that work there. The recent excuse was that the items are with a courier that will deliver when they deliver. Ironically I receive daily sms's to make more purchases.
