I bought a Toyota Cross 1.8 XR. Currently on 13800km. Since purchase I experienced problems. Recently there was a rattle around 2000 refs. I took it in to East Rand Toyota more than a week ago. Toyota East Rand tried to find the fault with no success. Then in Monday this week it was sent apparently to a master technician who would attent to it. No feedback. I phoned the branch but could not find any person available to give me feedback. I sent a mail to the head office. No response. I phoned head office to speak to the manager: not available. I was referred to Lungi who apparently is the person to whom my vehicle is allocated. Guess what; not available. So far I did not get any feedback on the progress with my vehicle. I have no groceries or medicine anymore. I tried to walk to checkers yesterday and fell on the pavement. I do not know how to proceed other than to sell this vehicle at a loss
I bought new Toyota Cross 1.8 XR. The milage currently stands on 13 800+. I had numerous problems with the vehicle. At first the battery ran flat a couple of times. AA had to come out to assist. It happens quite a lot. Toyota East Rand informed me that it is because I don't drive a lot. A drive many vehicles from luxury to standard vehicles an it is the first time that I experienced this. I had to fit a bigger battery in my vehicle. So beware this vehicle is not for drivers who do not drive a lot!! The latest problem is that there is a vibrations around 2000 refs. After nearly a week the problem could not be detected. The vehicle is still in the workshop and await a Master mechanic which will return to work on Monday! I have many obligations which could not be attended to. I requested a courtesy vehicle from the branch which was not approved. At this stage I am desperate. It is not my fault that a fairly new Toyota Cross is not up to expectations. I had loss by holiday booking to KZN twice. So I had to pay penalties.
I received a phonecall from ABSA ***** to inform me that I made a *****ulent transaction. It proved not to be the case Two days later I received a call a cording to the lady, from ABSA ***** telling mr that there are now withdrawals from my account. Knowing about the ****s I did not respond. She then give me my name, date of birth, amount in my a count and the last digits of my account number. All my money disappear from my account. I phoned the ABSA ***** Line where Thabo informed me that the money was transferred to African Bank and he will try to contact them as it was after banking hour. I found out that 3 of my friends was called by ABSA ***** Line and afterward there money was ****** during a so-called follow up call. Something is not right here. There need to be an investigation into this matter. My claim was not even properly managed an I had to lodged a complaint before so-called attention was given only to be informed a day later that ABSA is not responsible. I am now cleaning my various accounts and so did my other friends that suffer the same losses
I bought a red satin blouse from Woolworths last week. When I rinsed it, the ref colouring came out and also stained the other items in the basin. I paid a high price for this blouse only to ruin my other clothing items and the basin
Our sectional title body corporate was canvassed to move to Whitfield Property. What an absolutely wrong move. After 6 months of the transfer Whitfield could not give the trustees financial information to work with. Directions from the trustees are not follow through. In general a big mess! The Body Corporate decided to leave Whitfield .Properties. The necessary 2 month's notice was given. After nearly 3 months the total of our funds have not been transferred and information required by the new property agent was not provided. Best stay away!
Beware of JMS Sixpence Trading. Our sectional title complex paid Jane O'neil a huge amount to paint a part of the roof of the complex. She gave a 10 year quarentee which seems to be good to be true. And it was to good to be true. Our roof was painted with acrylic and in the wrong colour. After 6 months the paint started flaming. A report from Universal Paint stipulated that she did not prepare the roof. She undertook to re-do the roof but disappeared thereafter. She could not be traced regardless of personal and legal follow up. Do yourself a favour and take care that Jane O'neil does not do the same to you. This company is deregistered
I have been on this scheme for many years. My monthly payments exceed R1 100. Due to a unidentified health problem my expenses were high this year. I have already spent thousands of rands f M own because this medcal aid finds the most obscure reasons to not to add payments to the self-funding gap e.g. the pharmacy issued a sealed 100 ml bottle of atrax and not 60 ml. The expected the pharmacy to open the sealed 100 ml bottle and pour 60 ml in another bottle. I tried various e-mails and phone messages which was never returned to obtain approval for a biopsy with no success. Eventually only a part of the biopsy was approved after may effort but the analysis of the biopsy was not approved! Don't try to phone the offices. Nobody answer. You have to leave a message so that they can phone back. Which never happens.
A policy holder from King Price drove into my car on 11 Jule 2024. I submitted a third party claim. For about a month I was sent from pillar to post. Nobody attended to my claim but many documents and photos had to be send to each of the 3 persons. Eventually Anina was allocated to attend to my claim. More photos and same documents were required. At last my claim was approved but still no payment receoved
This managing agent manage our sectional title complex. Huge financial mistakes were made. The trustees arranged a meeting to get approval from owners to change managing agent. Now this managing agent accused the trustees of giving incorrect information to the owners so that they decided to discontinue the contract. This is not true. Written proof of everything the trustees informed the owners about is available. Why can Mawer and Delport not just except the owners' decision. No trust relationship any more
Watch out for this company. The lady paint the roof with charcoal paint and not silver like the rest of the roofs. After only a few months after painting, the roof is peeling although she gave a 10 year guarantee.
