I have dealt with an employee of Discovery Insure by the name of Katleho Liwane. I have been dealing with this specific agent for the past couple of months. I have been receiving disgusting service from her. I even requested a different agent to assist me which did not happen. I expect all my interactions with this agent to be listened to and for her to be reprimanded for such unprofessionalism. I expect an immediate response to this complaint.
I reported a fraud case in January 2020. To date, I have not received any communication back from FNB. It is logged on the system and the call agents can see it. They continuously transfer me between the agents. I've been on a call for almost half an hour with majority of the call being on hold. The call ended with FNB cutting the call and not getting anywhere. This is disgusting service for a fraud line, that too, from FNB.

Their service and quality of baked goods is always exceptional. I ensure I stop there every visit to Durban as there is nowhere in Johannesburg that can compare to them. I would love if they opened up in Johannesburg.
I have been with many banks over the years but FNB has had the most updated technology that allows you to have full hold over your banking from your smartphone which makes Banking so much easier.
I processed a claim with the above reference last year which was paid as per quote from Star Nissan. This was for replacement of keys after we were at gunpoint in our house in the night. My bag was stolen which had my keys in. I did plan on taking the car to Nissan but as this was towards the end of the year, they were very busy and could not accommodate me when I was available. The robbery was very traumatic and I felt it was unsafe for me to wait for Nissan to be available or reopen after Christmas holidays. I found Champion Locksmith nearby who could assist me when I was available before the holidays. This was much cheaper but because of their service, I was able to go with them. There was no communication from Discovery Insure at all that stated I can only go with the company the quote was paid against nor that I should advise them if I do go to another company. On 16 October 2020 I was involved in an accident (not with my Nissan Tiida) because of another person driving illegally. This was not a claim through my insurance. In the whole commotion of the other driver fleeing the scene as well as being by a taxi rank and train station, I lost my car keys. I then processed a claim to replace it. I was asked to get a quote for replacement. I requested this from Star Nissan who then sent me an old quote. I believe this then flagged with Discovery Insure and was assigned an assessor. It was then that I realised the person from Star Nissan did not send me a new quote but sent me an old one dated last year. I was requested to forward proof that I did ask Nissan for a new quote which I did do. I was then asked for proof of previously replacing the same last year which I did advise the accessor that I would not have kept this receipt but will try to obtain it. I went back to the company (Champion Locksmiths) that did the replacement and requested proof from them. I advised them the date and amount of it. They then gave me a receipt for the work that was done with them and I then proceeded to submit it to the accessor as well as my bank statement with record of the payment being done with Champion. There were many calls and emails back and forth as well as a call being made to my friend who was in the accident with me whom she was also rude to. Champion wrote out a new invoice instead of going into their old records and getting the invoice. I was told today by Katleho that I am being blacklisted or something like that, Discovery Insure will send me a letter giving me 30 days to find new insurance and they are rejecting my claim due to 'fraud, misrepresentation and inaccurate information' . She said that by me going to Champion and they writing a new invoice and stamping it is fraud by me. As well as me going to Champion after a quote from Star Nissan was submitted is called Inflation and not allowed. This is absolutely untrue as I did not commit any form of fraud. I have requested the accessor to take this up as well. There is nowhere in my policy that says: I need to keep proof of the work being done, that I have to go to the same place that was quoted on, that the entire amount must be used for the same thing. I also spoke to the owner of Champion after I was notified of the above who has apologised for his staff and said has taken the original invoice out from his storeroom. He also said Discovery Insure may contact him directly to clarify. From the very beginning the same accessor was rude and had an issue which I even stated in an email at the very beginning of dealing with her (Katleho Liwane). I did request to take this up with Discovery Insure which has still not been done. I will not accept this decision by discovery and demand an inquiry to be made into this. All calls need to be listened too that was made by Katleho with regards to this claim as she dealt with this claim very unprofessionally, was extremely rude and treated me as if I was doing something illegal from our very first few calls.
