This website is a **** !!! Beware, the address they show at V&A Waterfront does not exist. I did not immediately order from the website I first emailed and checked if the item was in stock, they responded to my emails, Michael Van Wyk all seemed legit until after I paid and then the email I received got me all worried, I emailed to follow up on when my item would be shipped and heard nothing back, no one answers the phone number supp**** on the website and then I found the other reveiws on Hello Peter! I am just so disgusted that I have been ****med!
Vodacom migration ***** was committed on my accounts, those pesky people who call you insisting that you need to urgently migrate from your packages because they are no longer applicable, vodacom online and third party call centers, despite me declining their offer to migrate my accounts that they had flagged as needing to migrate they went ahead and migrated my phone contracts and have locked them in meaning that I cannot change and migrate to lower cost packages, this is absolute ***** and I have only just discovered that this has been done to a few of my contracts, the staff at the Vodacom stores that I discussed this with were not surprised at all, seemingly this is a normal practice that they call centers do with clients, probably because they get massive kickbacks and commissions for doing unnecessary contract migrations. How is this even possible? it is plain ***** being committed to many many clients who are never aware of this. So try to get hold of Vodacom ***** line, no sorry they say that (after being transferred to at least 15 different people at customer care) no one cannot speak directly to anyone in ***** department because they can only be reached via email. the lady that tried to assist me last week said that I should come back during the week - sit at vodacom store and get a consultant to help me because- as she put it, best that I sit with you and log this complaint as you may get bul**** by them into believing you have done this yourself.
So DSTV, what a disgusting attitude, we have a existing decoder that stopped working during Covid-19 lockdown, we were given a decoder by a family member who had a second unused one, we called into the Port Elizabeth office 3 nights ago and inquired how to get the new one working and registered, they instructed us to complete a change of ownership form, by the previous owner and this was duly done and submitted, now a demand for payment, in next 2 days for the extra decoder? after another very frustrating conversation again with the Port Elizabeth DSTV office that has informed us that we will now be paying for 2x DSTV decoders since they cannot de-activate the existing non working decoder till the end of the month and we will unfortunately just have to pay for 2- are you kidding me? - the first consultant that advised me failed to warn me that I would be billed for a second decoder after I explained the problem with the broken decoder she should have shared this nugget of information since who has extra money to pay for a second subscription during this financial crisis and tough times a company like this has such ridiculous rules and are unwilling to offer any aid or solutions to a client! I really am disgusted in the attitude- worst of all is the other comments on this site, clearly they couldn't give a **** how their clients feel, they have not bothered to respond to the comments on this page
Due to the Covid 19 Lockdown with extra time on my hands and looking to see where I can reduce expenses, I discovered with absolute horror that on my 6 Vodacom contracts (my own personal, husbands and 2 kids contracts as well as 2 x business contracts) that there were numerous WASP - subsciptions- content subscriptions that I have been billed at daily rates ranging from R5, R7 and R20 per day, all in all roughly R2500 per month being secretly billed and debited from my bank account for absolute ****! I am furious, having recently done the SMS - cancel all subscriptions on all my accounts I was pretty sure that nothing had slipped by me! this is happening to everyone and if you search any of the social media platforms you will see this is nothing new! we certainly have never, and will never subscribe to Express mobile, Joyous content, Uchater, Express content, MobQuizz, SencingZA, Tapgamez, Crushtone, mywai, Portco, djON, Tonezone- I feel violated and this is simply fraud, I want my money back, All of it!
