I have purchesed a Whirlpool gas hob online from Makro, delivered from Makro Carnival. After a dissapointing experience with Whirlpool service, 6 weeks later, I reverted to Makro for support. They called me twice for support and returned and refunded the product with any questions - after 6 weeks.
I have purchased a 600mm Whirlpool gas hob online from Makro. After installation of the appliance, it did not function correctly. I called the Whirlpool call centre who promised that a technician will attend to my problem. I sent all the requested documents. No response urged me to call again, and again I received an apology for the inconvenience and promise to send support. After 6 weeks and many calls with no support, I contacted Makro and the product was returned for a credit.(thank you Makro) Whirlpool products cannot be faulted, but service was really dissapointing. Promises without any action.
I want to commend Stratcon for excellent service and keeping to their promises. Good technical expertise complemented their value proposition.
