I would strongly advise against using Legatus!!! It has been over a year and a half since we began the process of finalising my grandfather's will—an estate that is straightforward, with no businesses or complex assets involved. The delay is completely unacceptable. Throughout this time, communication from Legatus has been virtually nonexistent. Every time we manage to get in touch, we’re met with a new excuse or issue, with no real progress being made. This ongoing pattern of incompetence and lack of transparency has left us extremely frustrated. We are now in the process of appointing legal representation to escalate the matter, as this situation is far beyond reasonable delays. It is clear to us that this should have been resolved long ago. Dealing with Legatus has been a deeply disappointing experience. Proceed with extreme caution—you may come to regret it as we have!!

We were very happy to find an affordable company and the team was very friendly however we are not at all happy with the work done. Our thatch still leaks in. On the day of completion I sent a photo as I was a bit concerned about the work done, I asked will it not rain and I was told no it won't. However it still rains in it's like it was never repaired at all. We know that grass was added however it's exactly as before so we feel like we just wasted our money. Spoke to the owner and till today waiting for a resolution that will probably never come. Cheap is not always the best unfortunately 😞
If there was a 0 star I would choose that. So very disappointed in Discovery bank. Your customer service is the worst. It's taken us a whole month just to get a stamp on our subsidy form for school. We've e-mailed numerous times with no response, eventually we call and your call centre is so rude. We were then told oh the mail address we sending the document to doesn't get monitored??? Why on earth then give us that email address then it gets said oh we were supposed to put someone's name in the subject wow like we are gone know that, eventually we get a name and we have now sent numerous emails to this person called Thami, he just does not respond we have begged since last week as we only had last week to submit after struggling for more than a month and still no response. This is ridiculous because now we can't apply because of your lack of service. I WILL NEVER JOIN DISCOVERY BANK IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF SERVICE YOU GIVE!!!!
I wish there was a 0 ratting I could give Groenewald Attorneys. Absolute scum bags. Groenewald Attorneys absolutely rubbish service and the biggest crooks ever. I have been trying to contact them for 2 months now with absolutely no response and they are still doing exactly what I asked them not to do. I was handed over for a temp loan that was from the start FNB fault. I Have been paying them now for 4 months. Had a look a look on their website at my statement only to see all they charges and fees taking place. R20 an email plus R10 for an sms, aswell a R50 collection fee plus interest thats added that goes up and down every month, it's like these amounts were thumb sucked. This is absolute daylight robbery, first of all I was never informed about any of these charges from the beginning of being Handed over. I have been retrenched and have 4 kids that I somehow have to feed and yet you still make me pay for your admin **** that I asked to stop emailing and sms as I can't afford that as well. Sounds like a fraudulent company to me. And I will be going to REAL LAWYER'S I will be reporting this unethical behaviour!
