If I could give them zero I would
I viewed virtually before I moved to Cape Town, my only specifications were I wanted to live in an only woman house or a mixed house with ***** people. I was assured the place I signed up for in observatory had all the specifications and when we virtually viewed I was happy with what I saw. They put me in a house with 5 straight males 2 months into moving in, a housemate breaks into my room *****s my card goes withdraw R3000 and *****s my ID. He has since committed identity ***** with my ID. The rental property manager till this day, 5 months later has refused to assist me with giving me the tenants name so I can go and open a case with the police. Another instance, is their maintenance manager giving contractors external contractors copy of keys to my room so they can come and fix my shower without giving me a heads up, I just find three strange men walking into my room, that was two months ago and till today not one person from this property group has apologized. We have also had an attempted suicide from another house mate in this house, the way management dealt with this incident, has been pecu**** and I will just leave it at that I've absolutely loved living in Cape Town, I'm absolutely in love with the culture. But if I could do this again, I would have gone through a private landlord. It's so disheartening because this entire experience with them really made me realize there is no sense of community, I have no more sense of safety, Also if you sign up with them don't be surprised if somewhere along the lease they add extra charges that were not agreed upon earlier that has happened more than once to me. But everyone's experience is different, so I hope whoever reads this has a better experience than I did.

Soukop Property steals agents commission
Soukop Property Group steals Agents commission. I'm not too sure how the other franchises are run but do not under any circumstances work for Soukop Property Group Ballito. The manager Paula De Beer will steal commission from you. I was a real estate agent working for her for over a year. For the last two deals that registered early 2020, she used my commission for personal expenses and after me consistently asking her to pay me, she confessed that she has used my commission on personal expenses and has no money to pay me what is due to me. I contacted Michela Soukop and Dina Soukop and both of them have told me they can't get her to pay me, and I should "let it go". Paula used over R70 000 of what should have been my commission. I now have to go the legal route to get my commission from the franchise. I am not the only employee that they have done this too, I'm just the only one who's not willing to let it go. I don't want anyone making the same mistake I did, I wish I had been warned earlier. Stay as far away as you can professionally from Soukop Ballito.
