STANDARD BANK NOT KEEPING THEIR WORD BY APPROVING DEBT RELIEF
It has been almost a month after I was approved for debt relief for vehicle asset finance from Standard Bank and Im still waiting for the terms and conditions as well as reversal of the debit order that went off my account on 1st May 2020. According to my vehicle asset finance statement I received it shows I am in arrears with two months payments but they deducted the car payment from my account of which Im waiting for the reversal. I never skipped any car payment so I am shocked to see on the statement that I am in arrears with two months. Everytime I phone I am not being helped because none of the consultants can advise me of what is happening with my account. I am stressed out as this is not right what is happening as I have been a loyal client for years. I did everything I was suppose to do applying for payment holiday that was approved but now Im sitting with no refund which I am in need of the money...lawyers has been phoning me for the car payment which shows on my account that it was deducted and also the statement from vehicle asset finance shows that Im nw two months in arrears which I am not. This is very disappointing and I am worried sick as its already bad in the lock down we all facing and I trusted that my bank will asssist me as their client. This is so wrong that they approved my request for debt relief of three months but now Im sitting with lawyers requesting payment of which was paid and they making mistakes of saying I am in arrears of two months which no payments was skipped ever. This is really very stressful and unacceptable that they treat clients like this.
