AA Electrical SCAM
They service all of Joburg and Tshwane. They go by various aliases AA Electrical but always indicate Electrical and Plumbing. Chose them because of NO CALL OUT FEE. They were supposed to replace an oven element. Said it was three switches on DB board tripping the oven. When they left and we turned the oven to its maximum there was a FIRE on the bake oven element. They refuse to take responsibilty. They refuse to give a refund. Use different names to advertise in REKORD local suburban newspapers. Use : AA Electrical 082 622 2150 012 023 1236 011 440 1622 082 622 2150 084 866 0744 Invoice indicates AJ fast electrical and plumbing. They will make your problem worse in order to scam you!! DO NOT LET THEM NEAR YOUR PROPERTY!!

Capitec Materpass and eTshwane payment issues!
I have an issue with eTshwane municipal bills not being accepted by the Capitec Bank Masterpass app. It has always worked in the past without any issues and works for any other transactions except paying municipal bills. Your consultant Kayla, though eager and helpful, could not give me any kind of direction as to how to solve the problem after being on the phone for approx 25mins. I still have no idea if Capitec Materpass purposefully do not want their clients to pay eTshwane Municipalty through the Masterpass app since Capitec bank make zero fees from the transactions.

DSTV bills for bogus oustanding amounts
DSTV Multichoice used to be a reputable company held in high esteem by me and many others. DSTV Multichoice will surely lose its esteem with many clients if DSTV Multichoice continues to bill customers for fictitious outstanding account balances especially for an account closed in 2019 with a zero outstanding balance!! So called outstanding monies which were never claimed in invoices for customers, either through email or phone call, are now sent to debt recovery for payment two years later!! Only now recently from June 2021 no less, ALMOST 2 YEARS LATER do debt recovery agents continually badger closed account holders for 2019 bogus outstanding monies. When questioned about it, their consultants (after numerous phone calls to resolve the issue) keep escalating the issue. Their supervisors then phone to say it is resolved and the balance is zero BUT only to find out that a month later NOTHING has been resolved with DSTV Multichoice or their debt recovery company, Capital Recovery who keep calling to retrieve bogus otstanding monies. Pathetic and sorry state of affairs from a company sadly in decline. Mr. Andre Anthony Ref 8397511/i275

After disputing the debit orders on my account with Cell C , they have resolved this matter and credited my account. Well done and thanks to Cell C and hellopeter!!!

Cell C and Hellopeter are tops!!
About 8 weeks ago I posted a scathing review concerning Cell C customer service. Shortly after that I was contacted by a Cell C consultant, Nonthanthla Hadebe, who promised to look into the matter, which she did , and to my surprise my account now shows that Cell C aim to credit my account resolving our dispute. I still await the funds to deposited, but am confident they will keep their promises. Without the forum that Hellopeter provides I am sure this would not have been possible as I had reached a dead end with their customer service line. Thanks to Hellopeter disputes can be amicably resolved and I now have a newfound respect for Cell C customer care!

DO NOT NEVER OPEN A CONTRACT WITH CELL C!!!!! Data Number 0618507761 CELL C offered us a data contract 2 years ago of R 150.00 for 15 GB. After 2 years, after the COVID-19 lockdown end of May 1, they sent us an invoice on May 7 2020 of R 252.80 indicating that the “discount” had ended and 15 GB would now cost R 252.80. An upgrade, because the contract would end 10 May 2020, was offered. This upgrade was: R 150.00 for 10 GB (Same price but 5 GB LESS…GO FIGURE!!!) CELL C did not send an email or S.M.S during the lockdown indicating that you need 30 day’s notice to end the contract or that the contract was about to end 10 May. (This should have been done in the lockdown period but we were never ever informed!!!!) So after numerous phone calls to a customer care team where not one of their assistants have a clue, We decided to CANCEL the contract on May 7 2020 to which they informed us the contract would be cancelled after 30 days which would be June 7 2020. On the 30th May they debited R 252.80 from the bank account and I thought that the contract would end on the June 7th. On June 5th CELL C billed us for another R 301.62 which is supposed to go off go off at 30 June 2020. After numerous phone calls to the CELL C customer care team where not one of their assistants and supervisors have a clue, and I mean really this is the most inept customer care services you will ever have the displeasure of querying an account with, because at one stage one of their “assistants” promised that I was overcharged because I had cancelled the contract and that I would not pay the R 250.82 but only R 150.00 plus the pro-rata to the 7th June which never ever transpired because, not only did they take the R 250.82, they continue to keep the contract alive and charge another R 301.82 which is due 30 June 2020 even when it shows on their computer system that it was cancelled way back on May 7th. This CELL C Customer Care I am afraid are simply idiotic. Taking a data contract out with CELL C with this “USELESS” lot will eventually leave you ROBBED of your money!! Data Number 0618507761
