I placed and paid for Cabin Filters on the 4th of March 2026. Since then, until now, the order status has been "Processing in progress". I have phoned, used their WhatsApp, and emailed to attempt getting some sort of reply or indication of delay; there is no response on any of these.
I raised a issue with ABSA after a *****ulent debit order was processed to my account, resulting from a *****ulent cellphone account opened. Absa failed to confirm with me that i indeed authorised the debit order, and dispite repeated calls and emails with banking representatives, both Absa ***** and Customer service has shown any measure yo protect my monies. I informed the bank repeatedly that i have not authorised a debit order, and 3+ months later, debit order still proceed from the same service provider. Now i understand that i need ideally deal with the matter with said service provider ( which I have had little success on), yet the bank i pay to manage & protect my monies does little to protect me from unauthorised debit orders. I am a client's since volkskas, but now am seriously considering moving all business from Absa....
I wrote to Vodacom, following receipt of an application for a contract, that I did not apply for. I was told to write to their ***** division, which I did. The next day, their verification department phoned me to confirm my purchase. I informed them that I did not apply for this contract. The agent then said that they would cancel the transaction. I then wrote to their customer services department, which responds with: "Good day Please note that the Dealer ID is :VODDIR Please contact the number 08271844 Regards" Five days later, a debit order went off my bank account, with VODACOM as a description. I am vehemently dissatisfied and downright outraged over an incident involving the aforementioned application, where my identity has been falsely attributed to an action I never undertook. This egregious error has now extended to impact me financially and shows that their security of confidential information is far lacking. Additionally, the burden of proving my case now lies on me, the one that has been wronged. I would seriously think twice about giving my personal details to Vodacom.
This is the worst ISP i have had to deal with...now day 6 yet my issue not resolved. Fist they send me contradictory emails regarding my signup, then when i cancell my expression of interest, they do not remove it from the portal for the infrustructure provider. I am thus stuck with no option other than to wait for them to resolve the issue with the Infrustructute provider Mitchells Fibre... Unable to log my ticket for installation with my new ISP as a result of Afrihost's incompetence in cancelling my interest...Many calls, many concultants, many escalations, yet no result.....
