I joined onto an internet line some time last year. My sister had an existing contract in play with this company and I opted to join onto their line. When I joined I paid an installation fee to have the equipment set up and we communicated that the line speed would increase upon my joining. Its been months and we've been having issues with our line speed continuously. Whenever we raise it with the technical support we've been met with an arrogant attitude from their support staff. They've finally indicated that the routers we have are not capable of receiving the speeds that we had required, and yet they knew our speed requirements and installed in anyway. I'm infuriated and disgusted with the poor level of communication and customer service. Would not recommend them to anyone, as they are continuously beating around the bush and stringing us along and never responding for weeks on end.
Words can not even begin to describe how terrible my experience with PC Link Computers has been. I placed an order with them in early July, the order was confirmed and they said it would take 10-20 Working days for the order to be shipped. In that period of 20 days there was not a single update on my order, despite them saying that I can view updates on their websites. Upon querying the order I was Informed that the supplier had an issue at customers and the item was sent back to the supplier. I asked for a refund, and was informed that it was handed over to their refunds department and that it would take 14 days to reflect. 14 days later I receive the same email stating that it was handed over to their refunds department yet again. I queried this again, and the response was that "payfast was unable to complete the refund" and was asked for my banking details. I have still yet to receive any further communication on this, and my refund has still not been processed! Please buy from more reputable vendors! I chose to try PC link because they had an item at a cheaper price inclusive of shipping, but given my experience with them I'd rather have paid more and saved myself the headache and admin that comes with dealing with these people!
I've made purchases from Rare Earth Crystals before when they had a branch at Gateway. Always a great experience, and variety to choose from - at reasonable prices in comparison to competitor stores. Lockdown has had me resorting to online shopping alot, and the experience of shopping online at Rare Earth was actually an even better experience! I placed my order late last night, and was contacted regarding my order early this morning. The owner gave me all the details of the costs inclusive of courier, and promptly followed up with any information I Requested. Pictures of items were given to me (where applicable) as well! Overall very pleased with the level of service and communication I've received in the process of placing and confirming my order, and very eagery awaiting it!
I've previously bought Crystals from Rare Earth Crystals from their gateway branch - reasonable prices in comparison the the competition, and a variety to choose from. Lockdown has me doing most of my shopping online, and I could not be more satisfied with my online experience, buying from them once again. I placed my order late last night, and the owner got back to me this morning with the relevant details and courier costs. Any other information I needed was provided promptly and pictures were provided (where applicable) for me to choose from. Great customer communication and Service! Overall very pleased with my experience, and awaiting my order eagerly.
I went through to my service provider under a year ago to query a concern on my Huawei P30 lite which was one and a half years into my contract. I was informed that I needed to go directly to Huawei services as the phone warantee was covered by the service provider for the first year and further queries thereafter were to be taken up directly with Huawei. The closest Huawei branch in my area was the Cornubia Mall branch, after querying that I suspected a battery leakage, as there appeared to be a purple fluid underneath the glass back of my phone, and I was told by the on site techical staff that "The p10 lite has a lithium battery" and my suspicion was highly unlikely. They assessed it on site and said that there just appeared to be some "moisture under the back glass". They asked me to leave my device with them, to send to head office for further investigation. He asked me to take the cover on my phone with me, and he informed me that once it goes through to had office they'll format the device, and remove the tempered glass as well, and advised that I should buy a replacement tempered glass and back up my data. Two weeks later I was contacted about my device and was informed that it had "corroded" and was quoted R1200 to fix it, and at the same time was told that if didn't fix it, the corrosion would be worse and my device my fail. I decided not to fix it decided to instead opt to wait until my contract was due for an upgrade and just replace it. When my device was returned, the vague message that met me on the job slip was "back paint on glass peeling". Also to note, my phone returned looking exactly the same as it did when I gave it to them. My tempered glass was still on it, the "moisture" supposedly under my back glass was still there, and looked exactly as it did when I had left it with the store, and it was returned to me in an unformatted state. About a month ago the same device, still working normally, fell and my screen cracked. I opted to get this repaired by a third party and opted to get a battery replacement at the same time. Upon replacing my battery the man fixing my phone mentioned that my battery was leaking acid, only to confirm the issue I had suspected when I initially went through to Huawei. I had to go out of my way to go to the one Huawei store in my province, and have the inconvenience of arranging for a temporary phone and taking leave, only to be met with pathetic customer service, and to find out down the line that they didn't even carry out a proper investigation on my device. I'm actually beginning to doubt if they even carried out any investigation at all! Absolutely upset and disgusted with the pathetic service provided by Huawei, and the sad excuse of an investigation that they claim was carried out.
