They don't even deserve the one star. We 'tested the water' and opted for a 1 month's subscription. Kept on having streaming disruptions, there were times during major sport events where it did not even work at all. The cherry on the cake was they deducted another month and now we apparently have to cancel the service even though we only subscribed for one month. This was the 2nd IP streaming service we tested, did not have the same 'cancellation' issue with the previous one we tested - bunch of sharks!
We had the best service experience with Barbara, pre and post sales. Superior Spa and Bath stand by their product and deliver on their promises. The staff was super friendly and helpfull during the entire time it took us to decide which unit we wanted to take. Truly a 5 star experience.
A day or two ago I received a call from a man stating he is calling from Edgars wanting to know how much I'm going to settle on my acc. Told him that to my knowledge my balance is zero and I haven't received a statement - this appears to be a trend when my balance is zero. He promised to email me a statement, still haven't received it. Then he goes on that I need to still pay the Club fee and demand to know how much I'm going to pay - if I'm not willing to confirm an amount he is going to type R100 on the system. Today I get a sms stating I have to pay Edgars R100. Here is my question to Edgars - why don't you go an harass the people that owe you thousands of Rands and are NOT paying their accounts. I am seriously considering closing my acc since I barely use it any way and every time I try to book a movie ticket it says my card is invalid. Truely pathetic customer service.
Their aftersales service is non existent. Trying to resolve an incorrect product that was delivered and all you receive are automated replies. The lack of service is not worth the discount - I'd rather keep on using Takealot and pay more.
