On Friday 24 Nov 2023 I left Parys with a faulty gate motor. According to my GPS I would have been at Centurion Gate motors Boksburg at 15:00. Unfortunately it took me almost an hour to travel from van Buren through Gillooly`s intersection to the Edenvale off ramp due to an accident at Jet Park off ramp. I got off the freeway to find and alternative route. At 15:59 I was still four and a half kilometers from Centurion. I phoned them and explained to Nelson my dilemma. He agreed to wait for me so that I could book the motor in. I have entered the building five minutes after closing time where Nelson was waiting for me. He took the motor and Lerato entered the info on the computer. With such outstanding service, how could I not rate them five star. I would recommend any person whom might have a problem to make use of their excellent service. Thank you Nelson and Lerato
I am a pensioner and love working in my garden. I used to buy compost and super grow from Viewpoint farming, situated in Rondebult road, Boksburg. On Wednesday I bought super grow and load it onto my 1.3 Batam bakkie. As in the past I paid for 0.7 m3. On Friday I went to Viewpoint to buy organic compost. I told the lady that I have a 1.3 Bantam bakkie and would like to buy organic compost. I used to pay for 0.7 m3. She told me that a Bantam bakkie takes a full cubic meter. I said to her that the bakkie does not take that much. She said that she will go and find out. I have asked her to bring her tape and the calculator so that we can go and measure the bakkie. A guy came in and he took the tape and the calculator and went off to the bakkie. I offered to hold the one side of the tape, but he appeared to be very irritated and ignored me. After he took the measurements, he informed me that the bakkie takes 0.8 m3. I have asked him to measure the two humps inside the bakkie where the wheels are, as that might get us to the previous measurement of 0.7 m3. He refused to do that and told me that they can`t measure each and every little hump inside the bakkie. I asked him why he can`t measure it as there are only two humps and he just have to measure the one as they are identical in size. He then said that is not the way they conduct business. I have asked him why is there a problem today, as it is not the first time that I bought compost from them and used to pay for 0.7 m3. I am more than willing to pay for what I take but don`t want to argue or fight about the quantity. I left without buying compost as I felt that he should consider the space which will not be filled with the product I pay for.
I signed up for a "FREE ME" contract with Telkom for R100 per month for 24 months due to the fact that my grand children has Telkom phones and as a pensioner it was a good deal. Shortly thereafter I received a call from Blake & Associates claiming that they are phoning on behalf of Telkom and I owe them R2000 for a data contract. I said to the lady that I never had a data contract with any company but will find out from Telkom what is going on. At Telkom I was told that I only have the "Free Me" contract and owe nothing. She explained that Telkom does not make use of Blake & associates as a debt collecting company. Blake & Associates phoned again and I informed them of the situation. they asked me to confirm my ID on which I refused but gave them my date of birth. I was then told that it is wrong. I gave them my email address and requested a statement so that I can take it up with Telkom. The statement was for MR AW Bosch staying in Rustenburg. I am staying in Edenvale for the pass 20 years. I have sent numerous emails trying to explain and resolve the situation but with no luck. Since then I have been harassed by this company. I have requested them to summons me so that I can proof that I am not the person they are looking for. For two years they did not summons me. They keep phoning me and are very rude. When I try to explain the situation, and asked them their business address, they put the phone down in my ear. I will seek legal advise and find out where I can File a complaint against Blake & Associates. Telkom wrongfully gave my contact details to Blake & Associates without my consent, due to this bridge of confidentiality, and the fact that I have been harassed by Blake & Associates, have cancelled my contract with Telkom and will never use or recommend Telkom as a service provider again.
