Not the best service sadly. I wanted only 1 cube of topsoil as I had ordered before, but now told can only order2! I don’t need more. Even when offering to pay more for delivery they refuse. The truck is anyway taking the same time to and from site to me, whether it has 1 or 2 or 5 cubes! I don’t understand how people manage businesses and that they don’t want your money or further orders later either!!? Now I must go and find someone else to give my money to.. So insane!

We have really struggled with this company, especially the front desk staff who refuse to take accountability or adequately escalate a query or complaint. Our soil is 1 week late, they cannot confirm date of delivery or confirm the amount to be refunded!

Very poor service. It was our first time there so we were unsure where to go - nobody offered to help us. Eventually when we made it into the office the lady at the desk was unbelievably unhelpful and gave us one word answers. We actually wanted advice but we could see we were not going to get it. After paying, we were told to follow another lady who disappeared and hadn't told us where to go to collect our bags. When we did find out, it was a vague gesture to reverse down a lane. The workers were then frustrated with us because we hadn't reversed enough. The workers did not greet us and proceeded to converse with each other extremely loudly, without paying attention to how many bags they were loading, we had to count. There was no expertise as to how the car should be loaded and we had to repack it ourselves when we left. Extremely disgusted. We will certainly not be back.

I wanted to buy lawn dressing. One of the owners suggested that not buy lawn dressing as they recommended compost for my lawn for nourishment. The 2m3 arrived and was spread on the lawn while i was at work..... well it has stones, so much bark and sticks as well as broken tiles, bits of plastic etc. \Which means before I can mow the lawn, all that "filler" will have to be raked up. I contacted them yesterday (21.08.24) and told them with an accompany specimen photo of the filler. The message was read 30 minutes later and then no reply so today asked when I get and answer and this is their reply: "Goodday, so sorry for only getting back to you now, we were offline. I spoke to our manager regarding this and it was decided that you are more than welcome to come and collect 5 bags of compost to compensate""" I am gobsmacked - zero apology. Frankly it was on their recommendation that I buy compost, and they KNEW it was for a lawn AND at no time did they say it was unsifted compost. So either this is modus operandi or they made a mistake and won't admit it and make good - and I sit with the problem. Fool me once, Viewpoint but you won't fool me a second time.

In August 2022 I ordered compost from Viewpoint Farming. The next day as the gardener was loading it up, I could see steam coming from it. Dipped my hand in it and it was piping hot, meaning it was not properly decomposed. Also, it was full of bark chips and not the sweet smelling, black compost they used to supply some years back. This year I ordered again and specially asked if it was decomposed properly. Yes was the answer. It arrived and again it's not decomposed properly and still smelling of urea. It has done very little for my plants and in fact has burnt a patch of Mondo grass. I'm so mad at how companies get away with supplying ******* that costs a bomb but is sub standard. Seems like the whole industry is latching onto horrible, acidic bark chips as their compost medium of choice. Never again will I buy from them.

I am a pensioner and love working in my garden. I used to buy compost and super grow from Viewpoint farming, situated in Rondebult road, Boksburg. On Wednesday I bought super grow and load it onto my 1.3 Batam bakkie. As in the past I paid for 0.7 m3. On Friday I went to Viewpoint to buy organic compost. I told the lady that I have a 1.3 Bantam bakkie and would like to buy organic compost. I used to pay for 0.7 m3. She told me that a Bantam bakkie takes a full cubic meter. I said to her that the bakkie does not take that much. She said that she will go and find out. I have asked her to bring her tape and the calculator so that we can go and measure the bakkie. A guy came in and he took the tape and the calculator and went off to the bakkie. I offered to hold the one side of the tape, but he appeared to be very irritated and ignored me. After he took the measurements, he informed me that the bakkie takes 0.8 m3. I have asked him to measure the two humps inside the bakkie where the wheels are, as that might get us to the previous measurement of 0.7 m3. He refused to do that and told me that they can`t measure each and every little hump inside the bakkie. I asked him why he can`t measure it as there are only two humps and he just have to measure the one as they are identical in size. He then said that is not the way they conduct business. I have asked him why is there a problem today, as it is not the first time that I bought compost from them and used to pay for 0.7 m3. I am more than willing to pay for what I take but don`t want to argue or fight about the quantity. I left without buying compost as I felt that he should consider the space which will not be filled with the product I pay for.
