I recently bought the Univa U405-1 stove from Hifi Corp mainly because it was advertised as energy efficient and “plug and cook”, meaning it comes with a cable and plug already installed and does not require an electrician. This was a major selling point for me. When the stove was delivered, there was no cable attached at all. Hifi Corp then told me I must buy a cable separately and also pay an electrician to install it. This is completely contrary to what was advertised and is, in my opinion, misleading. I explained this to both Hifi Corp and Univa, but neither was willing to resolve the issue. Had I known this beforehand, I would have chosen a different brand. I feel I should at least have been provided with the cable and plug as advertised. This experience has left me very disappointed and frustrated. I will never trust Hifi Corp again.

I have bought groceries from Pick n pay through Mr. D and I have not had a good experience so far. Half of the time I have had to endure several hours of delay and when the grocery arrived some item is missing. However, what made me lay this complaint is that I bought grocery yesterday (29 Dec 2022) and they pack a milk that has expired on the 28 Dec 2022. The worse thing is I ate the milk and realise after that, that was the case. I think this is dangerous and needs attention. Also people need to watch out for this. NB: I have picture evidence of of the product code and expiration date.
I was offered a private account by Nedbank more than two months ago. After meeting my banker, she told me she will inform me when my account is changed and my new cards are ready. I did not hear anything from her about that. to make matters worst, I saw by my bank charges that my account is changed, yet the bank charges and interest rate on my credit card are still the same but I was promised they will charge. It feels like this was just a scam pulled by Nedbank to increase my bank charges.
