I bought two Garmin Edge 530 cycling computers from Cycle Lab on two separate occasions. The screens on both devices cracked and I gave them in at Cycle Lab Durban Cornubia Mall on 19 November 2022, for quote on repairs. After months of continuous follow ups, we got an answer of R2000 per device on repairs, which I felt was too much, the devices still worked when I gave them in, so requested them to be returned to me. We are now going on a year and half and I still don't have my devices back and no one can tell me where they are. My devices have effectively been ****** by either Cycle Lab or Garmin
I planned to relocated my office and submitted the relocation of my ADSL line on the 4th of August 2020. Previously when I relocated Telkom was so fast that my line was moved before I had and expecting the same level of service I moved my office on the 7th of August. According to Telkom's service agreement, they have 21 working days to complete the relocation of my services. It is now the 8th of September 2020, which is 3 working days past their time-frame and my line still has not been relocated. I have made numerous phone calls in this regard, and have not seen a single soul to attempt correcting the situation. Telkom claims that a technician had inspected the exchange on the 27th of August and found faults/stolen cables. This claim conveniently provides a technicality to the 21 working day rule, allowing them an indefinite period to attend to my request. My office is located in a security complex, which makes theft highly unlikely. I moved literally next door to the previous premises, so close in fact that I can pick up my old rooter, which is still there, but unfortunately the distance doesn't allow full usage thereof. I am also able to pick up 3 other rooters, of my surrounding neighbors, whom all have Telkom internet. Upon my last inquiry with Telkom on the progress of my relocation request, I was informed that Telkom may not be able to service me going further as they are doing away with landlines and only 10Gigs of data per month on a 3G network is available in my area. In the mean time, I am expected to continue paying a monthly contract for a service that I am not receiving. I am also forced to buy additional data from another network to continue my business.
I ordered 3 new cellphone contracts and 3 new rooter contract from MTN to permanently setup three employees to work from home. I received the devices within 2 weeks, however the rooters, which was the main requirement still aren't working after almost 2 weeks. We have been to multiple MTN stores and spent hours on the phone trying to correct the problem. This is extremely frustrating and I wish I hadn't ordered them at all.
